Bofur - I don't need no hero

Guys I want to ask you to listen to music I put here, because it suits this story very well.

Aly's POV 

"Clean up this mess", "Bring me more ale!" "Why is there vomit near my chair?" That's all I've been hearing for the last six hours and I feel as if my head was about to explode. 

A few men come into the house and the one with a silly hat looks quite short compared to them. I guess he is a dwarf, although he's the first one I see in my life. "Well, what are you standing there girl, go bring them food!" I resist the urge to roll my eyes. "Yes Samson, I'll do it." I go behing the bar and take out some clean tankards. While pouring ale into them, I think about that dwarf with moustache. He looked quite handsome and by his merry facial expression, I could guess he wasn't foul tempered or something like that. 

By the time I bring them their food with the help of other wenches, they had sat around the table, talking amongst themselves. I noticed that the dwarf wasn't sitting with them. He was singing a tavern song. Everyone clapped and sang together with him. 

After his little concert, I built up my confidence and went to talk to him. "What is your name Mr. Dwarf?" I felt nervous on the inside, because I thought he would get angry, but surprisingly he didn't. "Bofur, at yer service m'lady!" Fewh! At least he is still in good mood. "Well, I wanted to tell you that you sing very good. I have never seen so many patrons laughing like that before." "Why thank you lass, I'm flattered." 

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw three men coming in our direction. They were dressed like street hooligans who spend all their money on drinks. "Well, well, well, whom do we have here? A beautfiul young woman like you, shouldn't spend 'er time with that 'warf." I could hear that his little speech was slurred and his breath tasted like ale. "Bofur, I think you should leave before something bad happens." He looked quite shocked "But.....what if something happens to you? I don't I would be able to forgive myself." 

One of the men took my upper arm with a bruising force and I couldn't help but wince at the contact. Bofur immediately jumped from the chair, climbed up on a table and jumped on the man that was holding me. He tackeld him to the ground and gave him a puch to his face. The man let out a growl and overturned them, so that he was on top. Because of his size, Bofur was a lot quicker than and with the dwarven strenght he pushed the man off of him. 

"WHAT IN THE BLAZES IS GOING ON?!!" yells the innkeeper. Bofur takes his chance "These three men, tried to assault this woman over here, I was just tryin' to protect 'er." "He lies!" yells the man. Samson the innkeeper takes a look upon them and notices three familiar faces. "You three! Didn't I tell you to never come back here?! Go out from my tavern or I'll get the guards and you will sit in jail for the rest of your lives!" The leader of the three just spit on the floor and went to the entrance and out, his companions following him. 

I didn't even notice a hand on my shoulder until it was shaking me. "Are you allright lass?" asks Bofur. I turn my head to look at him. He had a bit of blood on his cheek, so I took my chance to wipe it and after it was all clean, I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I was very brave of you to stand up for me Bo." "Bo?" I just blush and sheepishly say "Well, I thought I could give you a nickname, you know." He gave me a grin "I like it, but I.....never asked for your name." "It's Alyanna, but you can call me Aly for short." 

Suddenly music started playing again."Well m'lady, may I take you to this dance?" I looked him in the eyes and whispered "Yes, you may." And so we started dancing until the sun came out. 

Well, this chapter consists of 729 words and it took me only 10 minutes to write it. Amazing, yes? Well I hope you all liked it, vote and comment,
