I rifle through my purse, looking for my phone that I haven't even touched since this morning. We had been so busy throughout the day and I had it on silent for our date, so I didn't even think about it.

Forty-seven text messages and 3 missed calls were waiting for me when I unlocked my phone. My friends are absolutely insane. I sent a quick text to my mom who had texted me this morning asking how things were going and if I was settling in okay. Then I turned my attention to the many texts in my friends group chat. It started off sweet with words of encouragement and 'good luck's for our date, and quickly turned into ravenous questions about every single aspect of our time together today.

One of the last texts in the chat was a screenshot of a girls Instagram that had a tagged picture of Sebastian. I recognize it as the selfie I had taken with him and his fans this afternoon. The caption the girl wrote was sweet, just basically talking about how nice Sebastian was to her and her friends. But it was the second screenshot my friend sent that really got to me. It was a picture of the comment section of that girls post. There was a few people in the comments that were really angry that I "joined in" on Sebastian's picture. They said I was acting really full of myself by thinking they would want me in the picture.

I know that wasn't the case. I was the one there, and they weren't. So I know they don't know what they were talking about. But it still stung just the same. I responded to some of their questions about our date, and made sure to tell them I was back home safe. Though I decided to ignore the screenshots they sent me. I just didn't see a need in starting something up about his fans right before bed.

Honestly though, how was I supposed to sleep after a day like that? I keep replaying the whole date in my head as I watched the stars out my window.

The next day flew by so fast. I had a ton of errands to run in the morning. By the time I made it back to my apartment, the sun was already setting and I was running out of time to get ready. I threw my groceries in the fridge quickly and hopped in the shower. I took some extra time for my hair and makeup today.

I slipped into a dark blue dress that had a sheer overlay of lighter blue flowers on the skirt. I debated on the shoes for a while, I couldn't decide which color looked best. I settled on a pair of nude suede heels that tied across the top of my foot.

I met Sebastian downstairs after grabbing my purse. I took in the sight of him all dressed up for our date. He was wearing dark navy dress pants and a white long sleeve button up. I watched as his whole face lit up as I walked out of the front door.

"Eliana, you look absolutely stunning!" Sebastian says, putting his hand up to his chest.

He meets me on the last step and places a kiss on my cheek. Then he laces his fingers through mine and leads me to a black SUV parked on the street. The driver inside greets us as we get in, and then drives us off to our destination.

On the drive there Sebastian tells me all about the Italian restaurant he's taking us to, he says it's one of his favorite places in New York to eat at.

"You truly are so beautiful." He tells me, bringing our entwined hands up to kiss the back of mine. I feel the heat rise up in my cheeks and I smile sweetly at him. He brings our hands over to his lap and spends the rest of the trip drawing soft circles on my hand with his thumb. I can feel the butterflies fluttering in my stomach as I look at him. He's so incredibly handsome, and he chooses me of all people to be on a date with tonight. I'm blown away by how sweet, humble and kind he is. He has not once acted conceited or used his fame to get us anywhere, he just talks about his life and hobbies like a normal person would.

We pull up to the front of an absolutely breathtaking restaurant. Beautiful greenery surrounds the outside of the building and I can smell how delicious the food is as soon as Sebastian opens the door for me. We're led inside to our table and Sebastian orders a bottle of wine for us. We talk about the different dishes and what kinds of foods we like and don't like.

"It all looks too amazing, I'm not sure I can pick. It's your favorite restaurant and I trust your judgment, will you order something you'd think I'd like?"

"I can absolutely do that for you, sweetheart." He says winking at me.

When the waiter comes back over to us, Sebastian orders two very delicious sounding meals and then pours us each a glass of the wine.

We talk as we sip, he wanted to know more about all the places I've lived and I happily tell him. He lets me know that he's called New York 'home' for almost his whole life, and he couldn't imagine living anywhere else, though he was very intrigued when I went into detail about how quaint and quiet my hometown was.

"Whoa, how would you sleep at night with it being that quiet?" Sebastian laughed as he asked me.

"I guess I was just used to it? I'd never known anything different, so it was normal for me. But you're right, it's much easier falling asleep here in New York. I think I like the idea of knowing there's always people awake no matter what time it is. In my hometown, lights out was at 9pm for everyone, you didn't find anyone out or anything open after that."

I just laugh as I watch Sebastian shake his head in amusement.

"I'm not sure I believe you on that one. I guess you'll have to take me there one day and prove it to me."

"Sounds like a date to me, city man." I said with a chuckle.

Our food came out shortly after and I'm so glad that I trusted Sebastian. The pasta dish he ordered for me was heavenly.

The dessert was even more delectable than the entree. It was a large slice of lemon ricotta cake with toasted sliced almonds on top. It absolutely melted in my mouth. If Sebastian was trying to impress me, he definitely succeeded.

Dinner was over far too soon, and I was sad our date would be ending. It was so easy to talk to Sebastian, and when he asked me questions about myself I could tell he was really listening and retaining the information I was giving him. A trait that I have found to be lost on most men. All my exes wanted to do was talk about themselves.

As Sebastian takes my hand and helps me up out of my seat, I notice one of the tables next to ours is filming us. They had their phone out on the table, not so discreetly pointed right at us. When the man filming notices me looking, he quickly slams his phone down on the table and pretends to stir pasta around his fork.

Sebastian notices me looking and quickly understands what just happened. He pulls me in close to him and we walk out of the restaurant together. As Samson, our driver, is pulling the car around, Sebastian leans in close to me and kisses the side of my head.

"I'm really sorry about that guy, you shouldn't have to deal with stuff like that." I feel a twinge of pain in my heart at how sad he sounds.

"No one should have to deal with stuff like that, Seb. It's not normal to be secretly filmed while you're out to dinner, no matter how many movies you've acted it. I'm sorry that happens to you."

I wrap my arms around his waist and hug him close as the car pulls up. I take a moment to breathe in his cologne, always so intoxicating.

The drive back to my apartment was quiet, I think that guy at the restaurant really upset Sebastian. I do my best to reassure him that I'm okay by leaning my head down on his shoulder and holding his hand in both of mine. I let out a relieved sigh when he lays his head down on mine.

When we arrived, Sebastian walked me up to the door of my apartment just as he had done the day before.

"I had an amazing time tonight. Thank you for such a lovely dinner."

Sebastian smiled wide at me and pulled me in for a tight hug.

"I had a fantastic time too, El. Thank you for joining me."

As he pulls back from our hug, I chose to initiate the kiss this time. I reach my hand up and pull him down gently by his neck. He smiled as we both leaned in close. He kissed me so gently at first, soft and sweet as our lips moved together in sync. I stepped in close to him, turning my head to deepen our kiss. His tongue sweeps across my lips and I gladly let him in. I reach both hands up to either side of his face while his are gripping my waist. We broke the kiss, both breathless. Sebastian rests his forehead on mine. He tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear, bringing his hand down to stroke my cheek with his thumb.

"How am I supposed to leave now, sweetheart?"
