As I was thinking about the Young Master's past, the maid who had gone came back with a warm glass of water and five extra people.

I couldn't make out their faces because my vision was blurry. I belatedly realised that my blurry vision was probably not because of the headache but short-sightedness.

"Glasses." I said softly, looking at the maid.

"Huh? Oh, yes! Young master, here's your glasses." She said while giving me a pair of gold-rimmed glasses.

Now that my vision was clear again I turned to look at the young master's- no, MY family. I was an orphan in my past life so I was looking forward to this.

My father, Lorenzo Heroux was a tall man with platinum blonde hair which my brothers inherited as well as pale blue eyes and pale skin. So all four of them resembled walking light bulbs.

I, on the other hand, had inherited most of my genes from my mom, Celine Heroux, which included my short height, black hair and dark brown eyes. This was also a reason the young master was ostracized in the past. They used to call him, me, the black sheep of the family. The defective product.

My brothers were as tall as my dad. Charles, Caius, Ciel and Curtis, from oldest to youngest respectively.

That's right, my name is Ciel Heroux now.

Coming back to the present, I looked at them and they looked at me. I blinked and gave a small smile which unfortunately pissed my dad off.

"YOU STILL HAVE THE NERVE TO SMILE!" He shouted.

Charles seemed to have expected it so he held his father's arm to prevent him from raging towards me. My mother also held his other arm as a way to calm him.

I was a bit intimidated by the outburst so I slowly slinked into the quilt, leaving only two bespectacled wide eyes.

My mother turned to me and seemed taken aback by my actions, her eyes softened slightly and red rims formed.

"Look at you, still hiding behind the covers when your father is angry. Where did your courage from before go, huh?" She choked out before bringing a trembling hand to her mouth, probably to stop herself from bawling out.

I was still blinking in my blankets waiting patiently for the family to finish venting their grievances.

Curtis, the youngest, wasn't good at hiding his emotions, his eyes were red when he faced me.

"Brother, how could you do something like that? Is that commoner worth more than your own family?!"

Caius still hadn't looked at me in the eye. Charles sighed and held Curtis back.

"Ciel, if anything's troubling you, we have told you that you can tell us. That girl not being sincere in her affections doesn't mean no one else will be. You are so young, we can help you find ten or twenty more girls who will truly love you if you want! You can be sad but how can you harm yourself like this? You're only 23 years old, is sacrificing your whole future for someone like Lady Viola, worth it?! Causing our parents and our brothers to almost age ten years in the course of a week, trying to bring you back from the arms of death, is it worth it?! You never say anything! Always keeping to yourself, how do you expect us to help you like this?!... We've said so much, please say something Ciel... Take it as us begging you... Please don't do something like this again..."

In the start he was really fired up but towards the end Charles let out a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.

Listening to them say these things I couldn't help but get emotional myself. My eyes started getting watery and I started sniffling.

"Big brother..." I called out sadly, someone give me an Oscar for the emotions, really.

Charles and the others seemed shocked at that and Charles fidgeted a bit before coming over to my side.

"What is it? Tell your big brother! Whatever it is, brother will be by your side!" He announced.

This big brother ahh... Can't help but love him.

"Big brother, I'm sorry... I won't do something like this again."

I said meekly from under the sheets, blinking my watery brown eyes at him.

Big bro seemed to be struck lightning. Immediately he grabbed my hand and started patting it.

"Don't worry, baby brother. Big brother knows you're sorry. Just don't hurt yourself anymore, ok?"

I could see the others peeking from behind Charles, even Caius who had avoided looking at me till now. They all seemed weirdly excited. It's understandable I guess. Ciel had refused to communicate with them till now and suddenly he started apologising, anyone would be surprised and as is family, of course they would be excited.

I shifted my gaze back to my big bro who was looking at me with shiney pale blues.

"Big brother... Actually it wasn't... it wasn't completely because of... Viola..."

I told him softly, looking straight at his eyes.

I promised Ciel that I would look after his family. Step one is to straighten out the misunderstandings between them.

Time to snitch on some relatives, hah!
