None of the brats gave me any trouble after that.

I don't know what all rumours will be flying around because of this incident but I don't care anymore.

I knew that kid's family. The Browns. They were a merchant family. They had been quite unsatisfied with my father since he locked down one of their illegal trade routes.

When they heard about the third son of the Duke not being a prodigy, they must have let their tongues loose. Well, let's see what good that'll will do them now, he he he.

On a brighter note, the principal had taken a serious note of the bullying incident and had sent a formal announcement to each and everyone classroom that any form of bullying will be prohibited and anyone caught in the act of bullying will be punished accordingly.

It was now afternoon break and I was in the dining area. Lucius had another meeting to attend to so he had left me alone.

Today there was much more people than there were before the new academic year officially started.

I looked around for a secluded nook to sit and eat peacefully.

As I was eating I felt a fervent gaze on me. I turned around to try and see who was looking at me but I couldn't pin point them.

I decided to ignore it but after a few minutes I felt it again!

There was even two of them this time. From opposite directions!

Do you know how self-conscious you'll feel when someone stares at you while you are eating?

I put down my fork and stood up, determined to locate who was disturbing my meal. When I stood up one of the gaze dissipated but the other one held on!

I scanned the room once, twice and on the third time... I locked on to a pair of ruby red eyes.

Oswald Valentine didn't bother hiding as he stood up from his seat and made his way towards me.

I sat back down and wondered what in the world this young man was up to.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Third Young Master Heroux."

I narrowed my eyes at the smiling young man with an outstretched hand.

"Pleasure. Please refer to me as Mr Heroux within the campus."

Seeing as I had no intention of receiving his handshake, he took his arm back and unceremoniously sat down beside me.

I gave him a side glance.

"You do realise that the reason I sat in this particular place, was just so that I didn't have to sit next to anyone, right?"

"Nope, never crossed my mind."

This cheeky bastard.

"So you're just going to sit there?"

"Yup."

"Cut the crap, Valentine, why were you staring at me?"

"Ooo... Teachers aren't supposed cuss. You'll get a fine, Mr Heroux~"

"Fine. Avoid the question then. I gave you a chance, now don't disturb me while I eat."

I tried to ignore his presence and continue to eat but his gaze was too strong!

Deep breaths.

In... Out... In... Out...

Ok, this isn't working.

"Just what do you want?!"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Huh? Sure, I guess."
