"So I should just apologise?"

"Yes. Not just any old apology, but a formal one in front of everyone. Apologise not just to Ms Burton, but to the public as a whole."

"I don't like it."

"Retreat to advance, Ms Valentine."

"I know... I'll ask Julian for guidance later..."

Seeing her drooping head it I couldn't stop the impulse to rub it.

"It's going to be fine, Odelia, think about how proud Prince Alastair will be to see you taking responsibility for your actions and becoming a mature partner, all for him!"

"Yes! I'll work hard!"

The doggo head rose again with fighting spirit.

I lit another candle for His Highness the Third Prince.

After that brief interlude we continued on our journey through the flowers. I saw a lot of varieties, some which looked vaguely like the ones I had seen in my past life and some which looked completely alien yet familiar in Ciel's memories.

Oswald soon got tired of the endless flowers and told us to stop and rest for some time.

Odelia too seemed to share his sentiments but I still wanted to explore. So we decided to part ways and meet up at the auction house later where they'll be selling some of the rare varieties of flowers.

I kept on examining and admiring flowers to bring back to the mansion and my dorm.

As I was examining one such flower which resembled a peony from Earth, I saw a familiar silhouette passing by.

I thought I was mistaken, so I took a closer look and was surprised to see that it was who I had thought it was!

Even though he wore a slightly more common robe, perhaps so as to not get discovered, I still identified my second brother Caius, who had, apparently, had something urgent to do.

At first I wanted to go meet him right away but then I saw that he was not alone.

A similarly tall stranger was accompanying him to view the flowers. Sometimes whispering in his ear and sometimes coquettishly pulling at his sleeves. I saw my forever iron faced brother burn to the tip of his ears.

My mind was blown to bits.

The shock was so much that I staggered. A maid gave me a hand to keep me from falling on my face.

I contemplated between ignoring them, walking up to them or tailing them.

Finally the little devil whispering in my ear won as I started tailing them.

I pulled my maids with me to crouch behind the different stalls while peeping at my brother on his date. At least that's what I thought it was. And I was willing to bet a million dollars that I was right!

I kept a certain distance as I tailed behind them. Honestly, I had no idea why I was going through so much trouble and what my final intention was with all of this.

Maybe I was just bored out maybe I hadn't grown out of my childhood spy kids phase, but in any case I was having a lot of fun with this.

Sometime later, my brother and his companion seemed to have noticed us as they sped up and started going through winding pathways.
