"Miss Valentine, please cease your crying."
I was seriously at a loss on what to do. Seeing no other option I got from my seat and walked towards the crying girl slumped on the desk.
I gently patted her on the back as I tried to console her.
"There's no need to be so heartbroken, Miss Valentine, the situation is still salvageable. Please stop crying so, you're only going to bring harm upon yourself."
She slowly raised her head to peek at me.
"You- you really think so?"
"Of course!"
"But how? Alastair already hates me!"
"It's not so extreme as of yet, Ms Valentine. At most he's probably annoyed by you." And concerned but I didn't say that again.
"Then- then how should I make him like me...?"
"First wipe your face and pack your bag. We're going somewhere."

The luscious green plants sparkled in the sunlight like emeralds. The glow of the evening sun gave it an especially nostalgic feeling.
I had brought Odelia Valentine to the greenhouse.
This place was now my favourite spot to hangout after school hours.
I had brought Miss Valentine to this place especially, because it was calming and, because I wanted to teach her a very important lesson if she was planning on successfully wooing the Third Prince, Alastair Osborne.
"Why did you bring me here, Mr. Heroux?" She asked me as she took in the sight before her eyes and breathed in the fresh air.
Greeting the caretakers that I frequent upon along the way, I swiftly led her to one of the most beautiful areas of the greenhouse, the flowering plants section.
Seeing the vibrant reds, violets, pinks, yellows, oranges, and blues and all sorts of colours of the rainbow, Odelia looked like she had her breath taken away.
Seeing the soft petals and vibrant colours, she eagerly turned to me.
I chuckled a bit as I answered her fervent gaze, "Yes, you may touch and sniff, if you want, but be careful not damage any of the flowers. No plucking allowed, ok?"
"Yes, sir!" With that she quickly started frolicking around the area, softly touching some flower there and sniffing some flower here and occasionally sneezing when the pollen gets in her nose.
I sat to the side and took out some test papers to correct while she took her time to enjoying the flowers and the freedom.
After around fifteen minutes, she made her way towards me.
"Hey, did you bring me here just to see these flowers? I've seen much more beautiful ones!"
Huh, ungrateful brat.
I unceremoniously rolled up the test papers in my hand and not so gently whacked her head with it.
"Hey!!" She called out while holding her head.
"Of course not, Ms Valentine. I just thought I'll let you have some fun since you seemed so upset."
"Then what are we here for?"
