In this life, Oswald Valentine was not a still born baby. He was a healthy and vigorous baby boy.

Oswald told me that the moment he figured out he was in Oswald Valentine's body, he had set out to rectify the relationship between the siblings and their father.

How he managed to do that in the body of an infant was beyond me but what mattered in the end was that the relationship between the four of them was the best it had ever been.

Oswald took on the arduous duty of taming Odelia's wild nature and he did a pretty good job, all things considering.

Odelia wasn't twisted and vengeful from neglect anymore. She was blunt and she wore her heart on her sleeve, she had a short fuse but a soft heart.

She had a loving family and a great support system.

She would no longer be the villainess from the game.

Then comes me. I was part of the tragic backstory of Curtis, my dear little brother.

In short, my death triggered a lot incidents of mental abuse and bullying within the family clan being unearthed.

My parents and siblings blamed each other for their neglect and eventually the relationship between them became estranged.

It also initiated a plot of intrigue about someone targeting the family, the first attack being through Viola.

And then came the heroine, who with her gentle and open-hearted nature, slowly healed the invisible wounds Curtis had and also helped ease the relationship between the family of five.

Of course, they became deeply indebted to the heroine. Curtis would end up marrying her and making her his legal wife even though she was a commoner, which offended quite a lot of nobility.

But who cared about them, right?

That was in Curtis's route. In the scenario that she didn't choose Curtis, the family still ended up adopting her as a daughter out of immense gratitude and thereby giving her a noble status, allowing her to marry the prince or whomever it was that she chose.

But of course, that won't be possible anymore. Because of the little fact that I was no longer dead and therefore there were no wounds for the heroine to heal and no estranged family ties for her to fix.

One thing that was bothering me, however, was the fact that the heroine somehow came across a clue that would help my family draw out who was targeting them behind the scenes.

Oswald could no longer remember what the clue was and how she got it because that wasn't a big plot point apparently.

The only reason he could remember this much was because he noted down whatever he could remember on his little diary when he finally grew enough to hold a pencil.

The days he spent as a baby were spent reciting the story, apparently, until it was ingrained into his soul.

But his soul had limited capacity so it omitted out some points which was why the one we had gotten was so half-assed.

I didn't know what would happen now that two of the original characters' storylines had changed.

I also didn't know what was the heroine's intentions.

I won't go out of my way to prevent anything from happening as there wasn't anything of much significance the heroine could do.

But if she tries to harm her hard earned family, one she literally had to die to get, she would not take it sitting down.
