^^^Young Master Ciel

******

My eyes opened to see a luxurious room decorated in a way that reminded me of European palaces. My head was aching so much, much more than when I was in that void. Thinking about it now, the pain back then was also probably due to the faint connection with this body.

I tried to get up but the moment I moved, the pain intensified. I let out a hoarse groan as I brought a hand to my bandaged head.

"Young master!"

"Is the young master awake?"

Various hushed voices surrounded me and plenty of maids and servants in their black and white uniforms surrounded the bed I was in.

Even though their voices were hushed, it still worsened my headache. A single tear slid down my cheeks from the pain. Damn it. I hadn't even felt this tortured when I was murdered back in my old world.

"Please... q-quiet..."

I managed to choke out.

Almost instantly it was silent all around. A young maid, possibly in her late twenties, cautiously approached the bed and whispered in a soft voice,

"Would you like some water, young master?"

I nodded my head, my throat was so dry, I desperately needed some water.

When she went to get the water another maid helped me get into a sitting position, placing a few soft pillows on my back.

"Young master, we have notified the Duke and Duchess. They should be here soon." They informed me.

I nodded slightly as a response. I noticed that most of the maids and servants who had lined up on either side of my bed were looking at me with an especially sad expression.

Actually, at the moment, I also wanted to cry but had no tears. My hand went to my flat chest. Even though I wasn't a C or D cup in my past life, I was at least more than an A. But now... I closed my eyes in resignation. What the eyes can't see, the heart can't grieve over.

That being said, the maids and servants were obviously not sad about the loss of my melons. They were sad about the previous owner's actions which led to this mess.

When one of the balls of light had merged with my soul, I had gained the previous owner's memories. It was also then that I realised that I should have asked one more question i.e, What was the gender of the body? •́ ‿ ,•̀

Anyway, the previous owner's story was... tragic, really. If you were to ask me, "Was there a villain in this story?", I wouldn't be able to answer because it wasn't just one or two factors that led to the young master taking such a drastic step. It was more of an accumulation of years of suppressed emotions which just erupted one day.

He was the third of the four sons of the Duke. The siblings were two years apart from eachother. As such his oldest brother was four years older than him, second oldest brother was two years older and younger brother was two years younger than him.

Out of all the kids of the Duke, he was what was considered the most "mediocre". This is a Western fantasy type of world where magic and strength plays a huge part, after all.

His oldest brother, the heir to the Dukedom, was an intellectual prodigy. He wasn't the strongest nor had the most powerful elemental magic, but he had a knack for arrays, spells and tactics. He had revised and proposed alterations for a variety of pre-established spells and arrays, using them in ways that had never been thought possible and strengthening them. He had proven to be a valuable right-hand man to the Crown Prince, standing on par with the the Prime minister's heir and bringing utmost glory to the Duke.
