Chapter 3 - Meeting The Band

Your POV

The other day, I enjoyed hanging out with Kasumi, and catching up with her on everything that has been happening with our lives while we were separated. And now, it was time for me to meet her friends from Poppin' Party. I don't know what they're like, though. I probably bet that they'll be just as nice as Kasumi is, but I won't know that unless I go over there for myself.

Monday was the day we would agreed to meet up, and a few minutes later, while getting ready to go, Kasumi texted me.

Kasumi's text: Hey! I'm waiting for you outside your house! Are you ready yet?

Reading that made me giggle a little. Sounds like Kasumi is ready to go, and so, I texted her back.

Your text: Yeah, I'm ready to go. Just give me a moment to say goodbye to my mom first.

After texting her, I placed my phone in my pocket, and walked over to my mom, who was in the kitchen, taking care of the dishes.

"Mom, Kasumi is here. I'm going to get going now." I said.

"Okay son, just try not to stay out too long." She said.

"Don't worry, I'll try not to be." I said. I'd say that, but I tend to stay out longer than I want to be.

I began to head out to the door, and right away, Kasumi greeted me with that positive smile of hers.

"Hey, sorry to keep you waiting." I said to my friend.

"No need to say sorry." She replied. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, but where are we meeting your friends?" I asked.

"We're meeting them at Live House CiRCLE, a place we go to all the time." She said.

"That works fot me." I said, and the two of us began to make our way over there.

30 minutes later...

Location - Live House CiRCLE

After walking for a while, we arrived at the place we wanted to go to: Live House CiRCLE, and at one of the tables outside, there were four other girls hanging out with each other. I wonder if those are the other members of Poppin' Party. Kasumi did show me a picture of them once, but I already forgot what they looked like.

"There they are!" Kasumi said. I guess I was right.

As we approached them, Kasumi called out to them.

"Hey guys!" Kasumi said.

"Ah, Kasumi, it's about time you got here." One said.

"We were worried that you weren't going to show up." Another girl said.

"Sorry for taking so long, I just had to wait for my friend here." She said, and soon enough, all eyes were on me.

Oh boy, I'm beginning to feel nervous already, but I guess I should work through this. 

"Oh, is this the friend you told us about?" Another girl asked. Kasumi told them about me? That does sound like something she would do.

"That's right! Everyone, this is (Y/N) (L/N), my best friend in the whole world!" Kasumi said.

"Hi, it's umm... nice to meet you all." I said, not trying to sound nervous.

"Hi there, my name is Hanazono Tae."
