A few days later...

Location - Toyama Residence

Your POV

I made it to Kasumi's house to let her know that I wanted to go on a date with her, and to let her know that I was still going to love her no matter what anyone says. Once I got to the Toyama residence, I knocked on the door and it opened. Kasumi's little sister, Asuka, answered the door.

"Hi there, Asuka." I said. "It's been a while, hasn't it?"

"Yeah. I guess you can say that." She replied, though I don't think she is quite happy to see me.

"So... do you know if Kasumi is home by any chance?" I asked.

"She is, but why do you want to talk to her?"

"It's very important." I replied. "Please just get her for me."

"I don't know if I should..." Asuka said in an annoyed manner. "After all, my sis doesn't want to see you."

"Come on, Asuka, at least do it for me?" I pleaded.

She sighed.

"Alright, I'll go get her." She said.

She invited me inside and sat down in the living room on the couch. I waited for a few minutes, then Kasumi came into the living room. We stared at each other in an awkward silence, but one of us needed to say something.

"Umm, (Y/N)-kun... What a... nice surprise." She awkwardly said to me.

"Yeah... nice to see you too." I said. Seeing Kasumi is starting to give me butterflies in my stomach.

"So... did you need something?" She asked.

"Yeah, I was wondering... if you wanted to go on a date with me?" I asked.

"A date? With you?" She questioned.

"Yes." I answered. "What do you say?"

A sad expression fell on Kasumi's face, and she turned around to avoid making eye contact with me.

"I don't know if I should..."

"Huh? Why not?"

"It's just... what if someone judges me for going out with you?" She asked.

"Well..."

"Sorry, but I don't think I can go on a date with you, so you might as well go home." She said.

I felt heartbroken by Kasumi's rejection, but I really didn't want to give up on her. I walked over and gave her a hug from behind.

"Listen, Kasumi, you shouldn't let others judge you about who you date." I told her.

She stayed silent.

"If you're serious about loving me, then you would be strong about it, and stay with me, no matter what."

I can tell that was sinking into her head. Then Kasumi turned her whole body to face me.

"(Y/N)-kun..." was the only thing Kasumi said as tears began to roll down her eyes.

She hugged me tight, and I hugged her back. She began to cry, and all I can do was comfort her and help her let it out. After a moment of crying, Kasumi and I were looking at each other in the eyes.

"(Y/N)-kun, I am so sorry for leaving you the way I did." She said.

"No need to apologize." I replied as I wiped away the tears from her eyes. "The only thing I care about is getting back together with you."

Without any warning, Kasumi placed her hands on my cheeks and kissed me. I was taken aback for sure, but it felt amazing being able to kiss the girl I love again.

I began to kiss her back, and after a while, we broke the kiss and smile at each other.

"So, shall we get out of the house and go somewhere?" I asked.

"Yeah, good idea."

Evening...

I decided to take Kasumi to a cafe, where we could just be alone and talk about whatever we want. Kasumi and I chatted about everything, from everything she recently did with Poppin' Party, to the stars in the sky. Of course, I made sure to keep her inform with everything I've been doing since we parted, even though I was upset during that time.

It was fun being able to talk to Kasumi again, and I promise that I am going to make up the time we've lost. After hanging out at the cafe, it was starting to get late, so I took her home. We held hands and walked under the starry sky.

"I had so much fun with you today." Kasumi said as she went from holding my hand to hugging my arm.

"Yeah, I had fun too." I replied.

"I almost forgot how fun being on a date with you was." Kasumi chuckled.

"You're right." I chuckled as well. "I've been shedding so many tears that I have completely forgotten."

"But are you sure this is okay, though?" She asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean us being together..." She clarified. "What if someone judges us, and threatens us to break up?"

Kasumi started to freak out, but I did my best to keep her calm.

"Then you just ignore them. That's all you have to do."

Kasumi nodded. And right when we were about to kiss her again, we heard a voice that we didn't expect.

"Oh come on, can't you two break up already?!"

We glanced and saw a very angry looking Asuka staring at us. What was going on here? Did she not approve of us being together?

"Aa-chan, what are you talking about?" Kasumi asked. "You know how much I love (Y/N)-kun."

"Well, I am not convinced that you two are meant for each other." She replied.

"Wait a minute..." I stepped in. "Asuka, don't tell me..."

"Yes. I was the one who broke you two up." She confessed.

"NANI?!"

A/N: That is it for chapter 11, and I hoped you guys liked it. Good lord... even though (Y/N) and Kasumi are fine again, it was quite a plot twist that Asuka was the one who broke them up, huh? What's going to happen next?

See you in the next chapter, and have a good one. :)
