Your POV

It is the morning, and I am at my apartment that I share with Kasumi. For the last few days, I can't help but feel weird on the inside, and I don't even know what it is. A part of me wants to run to the bathroom and throw up, and the other doesn't. I feel like an on and off switch, and I just hope that it passes over.

I am just hanging out in the dining room while Kasumi is the kitchen making breakfast. Usually I am the one who handles breakfast, but this time, she said she wanted to make it, and I am looking forward to it.

"Morning, love! Breakfast is served!" She said and handed me a plate full of pancakes.

"Oh wow, pancakes! Thanks so much, dear."

"Yeah, of course. Make sure you eat all of them because I want you to be full when you get through your classes." Kasumi said while being a little firm with me.

"Don't worry, I will for sure!"

Little did I know that this will be the biggest mistake of my life. I took one bite of the pancakes my loving girlfriend made for me, and soon enough, I found myself rushing to the bathroom. I began to threw up in the toilet, and I don't have to describe how gross it was.

"(Y/N), dear, are you okay in there?" Kasumi asked as I heard her voice from the other side of the door.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine, dear!" I lied to her, even though I shouldn't.

"Are you sure? Do you need to go see a doctor?" She asked.

That made me froze in my tracks. I didn't want to answer that in front of Kasumi, but I definitely need to see a doctor to find out what is going on with me. But the problem was that I was going to do it, and not bring it up with Kasumi. After all, she has enough on her plate already, anf I don't need to add more to it.

"I think I'll manage for the time being." I told her. "I most likely have an upset stomach. Yeah, that's what it is."

"Well, if you say so." Kasumi sighed.

Kasumi's POV

As the day goes on, I am now at RiNG doing my job. However, I was fairly distracted as I kept thinking about (Y/N) and how he was feeling. He kept telling me that he was okay, but I don't buy it one bit.

I keep sending him text messages, and he was replying a lot, but eventually, the replying died down, making me even more worried than ever. Saaya can tell that I was becoming anxious, and decided to check on me.

"Kasumi, is everything okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I guess. But I am worried about (Y/N)-kun." I sighed.

"Oh yeah? What about him?"

I began to explain to Saaya how he has been acting weird for a while now, and how he threw up this morning from the pancakes I made for him.

"Really? That's not good."

"Right? I even suggested that he should go to the doctor this morning, but he wants to say that it is nothing more than a stomach pain that'll blow over soon."

"Well, then again, maybe it is, and there's nothing to worry about after all." Saaya points out.

"Yeah, I guess."

I couldn't be more wrong, though. My cellphone started ringing, and I saw that it was from the hospital. I was starting to get even more worried as I answered the call.

"Umm, hello?"

"Hello, Toyama Kasumi-san. I am calling from the local hospital, and we want you to know that we have a... (Y/N) (L/N) in our care."

My poor heart went to my stomach when I heard his name. My boyfriend is in the hospital?! What on earth for?
