Chapter 5 - Trip To The Stars

Weekend...

Location - (L/N) Residence, (Y/N)'s Room

Your POV

Once again, I found myself in my bedroom on another weekend. At this point, I was starting to get bored, and I hope that something exciting happens soon. It can be boring when you just sit in your room with nothing to do.

Something did happened, though, it was Kasumi texting me. I looked at my phone and see what she had to say.

Kasumi's text: Hey (Y/N)-kun, are you free by any chance?

Why does she want to know that?

Your text: Yeah, I am. Why do you ask?

Kasumi's text: Well, the girls from Poppin' Party and I are going to go stargazing in the mountains, and I was wondering if you wanted to join us?

A chance to go look at the stars with my new friends? How can I turn that down? Although, I would be embarrassed if I started acting like a nerd in front of them. Nevertheless, I really do want to go with them.

Your text: Sure. I would love to go with you guys.

Kasumi's text: Yay! Thanks so much! We'll see you in a few hours.

A few hours? That is a bit sudden.

Your text: Where are we meeting up exactly?

Kasumi's text: The train station! Don't be late!

I still think that this is all sudden, but oh well... At least I get to be out of the house, and maybe I can try to get even closer to Kasumi, as well as trying to figure out if I have feelings for her during this trip.

A few hours later...

Location - Station Entrance

I made to the station with time to spare. In the distance, I spotted Kasumi and the other members of Poppin' Party. As I got closer to them, Kasumi, being her usual self, rushed over to give me a big hug.

"Ah! You made it!" She said while hugging me.

"S-Sure, no problem." I said, hugging her back.

Then I looked at everyone else.

"Hey there, thank you for allowing me to come with you." I said to the Poppin' Party girls.

"We're glad that you were able to come." Tae said.

"I can't wait for us to spend more time with each other." Rimi said.

"I'm sure we're going to have a lot of fun with you around." Saaya said.

"And if Kasumi gets out of hand, let me know and I can put a stop to her." Arisa said with a sigh.

"It's okay... I don't mind Kasumi doing this kind of thing." I said, though I wish she could loosen up on the hug a little bit.

"Aww, you are sweet!" Kasumi said and started to snuggle up against me.

I started to blush as she did this.

"Anyhow, we should probably get going before the train leaves up behind." Saaya said.

We nodded and we began to make our way to the train.

Now we were on the train and we began to make our way to the mountains. I sat by the window and looked out of it while spacing out. Kasumi was sitting next to me on the train, and tried to get me to notice her.
