Chapter 7 - Staying Focus

Your POV

Tonight ended up being the night that I confessed to the love of my life, Toyama Kasumi. To recall, she wanted me to meet her at the park, and when I thought she wasn't going to show up, she did, and we chatted for a moment. Before I knew it, she came right out, and told me that she loves me. I accepted her feelings, and now, I felt like I was the luckiest man in the world.

After confessing to each other and all of that, Kasumi and I made our way to her house, as I wanted to make sure she was home safely.

"Thank you for bringing me home!" Kasumi said with a bright smile.

"It's no problem." I replied with a smile of my own.

"How do you think the others are going to react with us dating each other?" Kasumi asked.

"They'll be surprised, but they'll do their best to support to us." I replied.

"I hope so."

Kasumi brought something else up.

"Hey, do you think that we can go on our first date sometime?" She asked.

"We can try, but it'll just depend on whether or not we'll be free to make it happen." I replied.

Kasumi had a downcast expression but did her best to stay positive.

"I understand. I don't care how long I have to wait, I just hope that it'll be a good first date." She said.

"I'm hoping for the same thing as you."

There was nothing else to be said after that. I gave Kasumi a kiss on the cheek before she walked into her house, then I headed home myself. I wonder how the other members of Poppin' Party are going to react when they find out that I am dating their vocalist? I guess I'll find out soon enough.

The following weekend...

Location - Ichigaya Residence

It was now the weekend. I was hoping I can invite Kasumi over to my house to keep me company while my mom goes out of town with some friends of her, but it looked like that wasn't going to be the case.

Earlier in the day, Kasumi sent me an emergency text while it was getting close to noon. And I believe it said...

Kasumi's text: Can you please come to Arisa's place? It's an emergency! :(

So now, instead of going to have a fun weekend with my girlfriend, I'll have to sort out this random emergency Kasumi is having at Arisa's place. Once I made it there, I was greeted by an older woman and Kasumi.

"Thanks for coming!" Kasumi said as she ran over to give me a hug.

"Y-Yeah, no problem..." I replied, hugging her back.

"Sorry, am I hugging you too tight?" She asked.

"J-Just a little..." I barely replied.

Kasumi eventually let go of me.

"Sorry about that, I was just so happy to see you." She said as her cheeks went red with embarrassment a little bit.

"It's fine."

"Who is this, Kasumi-chan? A friend of yours?" The elder woman asked as she came towards us.

"Yes! This is (Y/N) (L/N), the best boyfriend in the world!" She said and hugged my arm.
