-- NIANA'S POV --
Since that stupid little episode on Monday, Arlo and I haven't spoken, Sydney and Ethan tried speaking with him but I asked them not to.
If he thinks I was the one who hurt Riele which I know she would say so-- then so be it.
"Do you perhaps want me to speak with him?"
"No Daddy, let it be, if he wants to talk, he would've called." I sigh before dropping my phone close to me on the bed with a defeated look.
"You've been moping in this room all week, you need to go back to your house soon."
I gasped and looked at my Daddy in surprise. "I though you said I could come back home whenever I wanted?"
"Not for so long, it's been a week already."
"Traitor." I mumbled getting off my bed to collect some junk food from my mini fridge.
I missed my room a lot, sharing a room or bed with Arlo wasn't all bad but still, I missed my own bed. At first, Arlo used to take the couch or guest room but as time went on, we started to get used to each other, I still can't believe it's almost a year since we got married.
"That isn't good for your health." My Daddy said with a scrunched up face when I chewed the chocolate bar that was already melting in my mouth.
"I know." I said taking another bite. "That's why I'm eating it."
"Niana, you shouldn't take your health likely because of him."
"Does he even love me? No, that's overrated, does he even miss me?" I said as a tear slipped.
"I'm only letting Richardson go Scot free because of you, but him making you cry is another level of tolerance." My Daddy said grabbing his phone before making his way out of my room.
"Daddy!" I ran after him. "Daddy, please calm down."
"Sweetheart, I don't sit still and watch someone make you suffer for a crime you didn't commit."
"They'll sort it out soon, every couple is bound to quarrel."
We heard Miss Anita's voice making us turn towards her, Quinn and Sydney was also with her making me smile.
"Who's up for a girl's night?" Quinn said raising her duffel bag making me laugh.
"Dylan!" Sydney squealed before rushing to hug my Daddy.
"How's my first daughter doing?" My Daddy asked.
Tsk. First daughter....
My ass.
"I'm cool."
"Can you guys not start today?" I scoffed seeing them all goofy with each other.
I wouldn't lie, they were the perfect Father-Daughter goal.
"You look horrible." Sydney commented making me look down at myself.
It was true. I was wearing Arlo's sweatpants and a band t-shirt of his. Yeah yeah, we are in bad terms but I took the clothes before we fought.
Did we even fight?
"Thank you." I smiled as I turned to escort Quinn into my room while Sydney followed my Daddy and Miss Anita out.
"Your room is so you." Quinn chuckled.
"Like?"
"Feathery colours." She shrugged. "Blush and grey....nice."
"I don't like bright colours."
"I do, my favourite is red." She said, standing up to look round.
"Colour of love."
"Your rug is so soft, where did you get it from?" She asked.
"I don't know, it has always been in my room since I was young."
"Oh, Arlo told me you were his first kiss, I would love details." She gave a shit eating grin.
"There's nothing much to say there other than he kissed me and said it meant nothing the next day." I sighed. "Even as kids, he made me mentally stressed."
"Really?" She laughed before dragging me to the bed to sit and climbing behind me.
"What are you doing?" I asked when she knelt behind me before releasing my hair from it's bun.
"I'm giving you a free head massage, at least my brother caused the brain stress after all."
"Thank you Quinn." I say relaxing into her magical hands.
"Just shut up and enjoy it."
"Where did you learn how to d--"
"Ssshhh. I said shut up and enjoy it." She cut me off making me smile.
Her hands were like magic, they massaged the right places and I was dying to ask her where she learnt it from. If only her brother is as half nice as her then it would have been really nice.
"How are you doing?"
"Do you want me to start crying?" I asked chuckling as a tear slipped.
"Don't worry, he'll come around."
"It's been a week already." I groan. "He avoids me at school, sits with Riele and he didn't even text like what do I even mean to him?"
"You are his wife." She said holding my shoulders. "Trust me, If anybody strongly believes in Wedding vows, it's Arlo."
"Okay, I'll just wait or should I message him?" I asked turning around to face her.
"No way! You are the wronged one here, he's my brother but I won't take his side because he's wrong and dumb and blind and--"
"It's okay." I chuckled. "He's also my husband you know."
"Take his side all you want." She scoffed climbing down before cleaning her hand with a wipe.
"My hair is oily, I know, but you didn't have to do that in front of me."
"I love you Niana and I hate to say this but your hair needs some bath." She said making someone laugh.
"That was hilarious." Sydney continue to laugh.
"Haha, so funny." I scoff before getting up and making my way to the bathroom.
Arlo better come around or else I'll go to his damn place and put rotten eggs in his body wash and also plant a bomb in Riele's apartment. She's like a pest in my marriage and I'm seriously out of ideas on how to get rid of her except for killing her when she's sleeping.
I'm not being harsh, she deserves it.
This week has been so hectic and emotionally draining for me, I need some warm bath, good food and a nice nap.
Oh and also, junk food.
