Chapter 4: Passive Aggressive (?)

Yushiro guided the two girls inside but he was very annoyed by Nariko. She haven't moved on from the wall thingy yet. She kept blabbering about it, saying how did that even worked. 

"Himari, did you seriously have to bring this kid with you? She's a country bumpkin, and she can't even shut up," Yushiro said bluntly.

"You don't know even know my name yet and you still can't stop bullying me. I didn't even do anything to you. You got anger issues?" Nariko answered back, making Yushiro more annoyed. 

"I wasn't talking to you, idiot."

"You're really rude, you know? Do you treat everyone like that or you already reached puberty?"

"Let's just have a silent contest, ok? The one who doesn't make a noise the longest wins," Himari declared. She had to make a distraction so that the two would stop arguing.

"Fine. But you better be dead quiet," Yushiro agreed surprisingly which made Himari confused. She guessed that he actually understood her scheme. 

"I don't think I can actually survive it but because you said so, then I will do it," Nariko sighed. A few seconds later, all of them stayed quite while walking. They stopped in front of a door and finally, Yushiro spoke.

"You better be presentable to her. I only escorted you here because of her request. If you do anything that doesn't please her, I don't care what's gonna happen to you," he scowled.

"You're too bossy, first of all. Second, why would I even embarrass myself to your master," Nariko asked which made Yushiro more annoyed.

"Why do you even exist," Yushiro said in his mind. He was already pissed upon knowing that they have visitors, and know he's confronting an obnoxious girl.

"Nariko, for once, be quiet? I can never have peace even for a second!" Himari whispered loudly. "Fine. I won't talk anymore," Nariko just sighed.

Yushiro rolled his eyes and held the doorknob. "We're here." They went inside and a woman with a beautiful appearance and a very detailed haori greeted them.

"It's been a long time, Himari. Welcome back," she said with a smile. "Thank you. I'm sorry for the sudden visit. If only the crow was fast enough to deliver my letter," she replied.

"It's not a big deal, really. Thank you, Yushiro, for guiding them here inside. I really appreciated it," the woman said which made Yushiro glad.

"No problem, Tamayo-sama. Anything for you. But please do reconsider inviting this person with Himari," he glared intensely at Nariko. 

"Don't be so rude. She is our guest. Treat her nicely."

"If that's what you want, Tamayo-sama. I will not argue anymore."

"Well that was fast. So he's like a dog too when it comes to his master," Nariko thought.

"I haven't properly introduced myself. I'm Tamayo. That boy is Yushiro. You're Nariko, right?"

"Yes. It's a pleasure to meet you," she answered back.

"Himari told me that she turned you into a demon while you were unconscious. Thankfully, you were able to withstand the transformation. It's been known that only Muzan can turn humans into demons, but now there's another person who can do that."

Nariko was too stunned to speak. Someone else can turn a human to a demon? It would take a long time to figure out how to do that certain task that only the King of the Demons can do. She was confused what to feel because she had doubts.

"How can humans turn themselves into demons? Does such technology exist nowadays?" Nariko asked which made the whole room dead quiet.

"You forgot to tell her, didn't you?" Yushiro looked at Himari with disappointment. She could only scratch her head, seeing it was too late telling Nariko.

"Calm down, you two. I'll tell her myself," Tamayo said in a soothing voice.

"Tamayo-sama looks very beautiful when she's calm. Her calm voice even makes her stunning," Yushiro said to himself.

"Nariko, this might confuse you, but I am a demon. I turned Yushiro into a demon a few years ago, and I removed Muzan's curse within me and Himari. It took me almost 200 years to make all of this possible. I tweaked my body so that I wouldn't devour humans," Tamayo explained.

"It's not confusing at all. I'm actually glad that you are doing your best to fight against Kibutsuji. I have to admit, I had doubts arriving here. But now that you have told me your story, all my doubts are gone and I can fully say you have my trust. So please trust me too," Nariko proclaimed.

"How dare you have no trust on Tamayo-sama?!" Yushiro was ready to yeet Nariko out but luckily, he remembered what Tamayo told him so he recollected himself.

"Yushiro, you should really stop being rude. Anyways, why don't we go to the other room to talk privately?" 

"Of course, if it's fine with Himari and Yushiro-kun," Nariko answered and looked at the two.

"It's obviously against Yushiro, but if you ask me, you can go on ahead," Himari chuckled while Yushiro just scoffed, crossed his arms, and looked away.

"Take care of each other now. I have important things to discuss with Nariko alone," Tamayo said and went inside a room. Nariko followed which left the two alone. After she went inside, the room was dead quiet again even though there were two people in it.

"Himari, why did you turn her into a demon on your own? You weren't thinking about it carefully! You should have at least consulted me or Tamayo-sama. What if something happens to her with your blood running on her veins? Did you even tell her what really happened to you in the past?" Yushiro said seriously.

"It's ok. I told Tamayo-san to do me a favor. She will do the whole explaining myself. As for my blood in her whole body, I think she can withstand it with the help of Tamayo-san."

"Why would you think a mere human would survive a demon transformation?"

"She is special. She immediately broke that bastard's curse and even spitted out human blood that what makes demons stronger. She is much more than what you think. Plus, she's one of the Demon Slayer corps. Don't underestimate her," Himari answered back.

"But what if she will go the wrong way? What if one day she would actually go wild and devour humans?"

"I don't think that would happen. I saw something very different from her the day she woke up from being a demon. She actually…"

So I had the urge to twerk-- I mean write again HAHAHAHAHAHA and it's Christmas break, so yeah, celebrate now, mental breakdown later. We have exams next year and I still have an unfinished school work so I'm trying my best to post an update before I suffer. I actually made some edits which you might not noticed.
