Ji Eun's POV

Goofing around and running in between the crowds, as if it was a race and the prize is everyone's favourite ice cream, we ran and ran, enjoying the breeze which, even if late summer, felt chill against the glossy, newly created beads of sweat in our foreheads, giving an ecstatic, jubilic feeling.

Let's not be an adult for a while, alright?

Seeing the students, slowly make their way into their respective classrooms, which might have seemed as if they had vanished into thin air to anyone who closed their eyes for a good minute and opened them, we finally made our way back to our classroom. Even though, it wasn't long, it was fun to be carefree, even for 7 minutes, memorable 7 minutes.

The first period - Theory Computer Class.
Eh.

Never in my life have I ever enjoyed one single, theory computer class. It was all just speaking and no action, no sitting with friends, no fighting for seats, no computers, no drama, no giggling and whispering, no peace yet chaos. Silent chaos.

Suppose you accidentally just zoned out for a minute, just a minute, and zone back in, you would still feel as if you are in another parallel world as you wouldn't understand or be able to catch up with what the teacher's talking about.

At first they would be talking about Java and the next minute they would show a whole, huge confusing, eye straining program which would be related to somethings, such as algorithms and sums, for which they would just ask us to write them, without us not knowing what it even means. I mean, you can always just use simple terms right? Like, numbers, programs and fun. Why the heck, algorithms and data structures.

From the moment my grades dropped in early high school, and is still like that, I seriously started to doubt if I had ADHD.

Dang, I already can't concentrate well, and when it comes to things and subjects - that I absolutely wish for it to just vanish from this world along with the Thanos snap, but didn't vanish, I never was found to be on earth.

Why would things we wish happen anyways? God isn't going to grant wishes, but grant the extreme opposite pole of what was wished to him, kindly, with no absolute worries. Why should he worry? It's us and never him.

Knowing that I wouldn't be able to listen in the class, I took the book, beforehand. The one I always read, no matter how many times I read it, it keeps pulling me back and alluring itself to myself. A book given by my mom. My true mom.

As the teacher came, she began her theory teaching, while I opened the book and kept it inside the computer textbook and held it in a diagonal way, so that, all that's seen from the front is the book's cover and me, studying carefully. I didn't have to worry about the behind as Seo Yun already knows about my interests, problems & difficulties and so she doesn't say anything.

Ring ring riiiiing~

Hearing the bell ring, everyone finally got their glued butts up. We thanked the teacher, and as to not cause a pandemonium by bowing a full 90° and prolly hit others butts, but instead by bowing slightly; the teacher, herself in return, gave a 'thank you and welcome' from her part.

click click click click click

Hearing her medium-high heels click as she left by footsteps, by physically touching, the polished corridor floor, and ain't levitating, we all heaved sighs - small, medium and heavy, all together, most likely, a huge 'sigh' or 'the done with life' crowd.
