Author's POV

Standing beside your house's compound, he stood there, suddenly thinking whether or not if he should go inside right now. He looked up from where he was standing and he saw you there. Welp, he didn't see you there before, but he was glad he didn't stand right infront of your house as you would have surely noticed him.

When he was looking at you from a distance, he noticed shine on your cheeks. You were and are crying. It's just that you suddenly got emotional by the thought of 'what ifs?'. What if you actually cannot escape from this reality? What if you are threatened to marry him? And all kinds of these questions.

He sighed, knowing very well you are thinking the most - one, unrealistic thing or two, overthinking and crying over what if you can't do anything but marry him. He wanted to come up and hug you but he chose not to.

Instead he waited for you to go inside so that he can climb up and come inside too, as you never usually lock the balcony door until you go to sleep at night. And as expected, you went back inside as he waited just in case and climbed to jump over the compound.

After low grunts and groans of him climbing up the pipe, he stood there catching his breath, looking ahead of him which is your clear window, covered well and full on by your neutral dyed curtain. As his hand reached for the handle, he couldn't open it. It was locked.

He was shocked cause this never happens. Now, he was the one to be calmed down by someone. He knew trying to open the door by making clicking noises were just going to scare you, obviously. He took out his phone instead and went to your message contact.

On screen (Jungkook's phone):

Me: Ji Eun...

You, on the other hand, seeing the phone's display light up from receiving a message, took a look at it and widened your eyes. You were lying down under the bedsheets to make yourself feel protected.

Ji Eun: Isn't he supposed to be at school?

You said to yourself but as you didn't want him to wait, you replied to his text.

On screen (Ji Eun's phone):

e: WHHHAT? Why are you texting me during school?

'A no': Why? Can't I?

Me: No... But why?

'A no': Well, I- I'm gonna come there now.

He lied, no doubt on that cause he literally is outside your room. But you don't know that he is and is still thinking that he is at school.

Me: WHAT? Didn't I tell you? My parents!

'A no': Idc

Me: But i do! Don't you dare
leave school. On top of that,
I am not even at home right
now, at this moment.

'A no': Really?

Me: What do you mean?

'A no': No, but seriously?
You really aren't
at home?
