Author's POV

You blinked your eyes trying to find out why he wants you to call your parents. He just smiled slightly and said the same thing again. You frowned but moved slightly away from his chest to reach your phone which layed at your bed. Opening contacts, you hesitated. What do you say?

Ji Eun: But why? Should I say something?

Jungkook: Yup. I want you to not... ask, your parents, but tell them that you'll...***

(A/n: Yo anyways in like two mins u'll know what he said but still..., inserting *** coz why nawt 🌚)

You widened your eyes at his blank reply. He wants you to say whaaaaat? You were questioning his mentality now. You atleast wanted to know what he had in his mind right now. But you trusted him. Trusted him with literally everything. So you wasted no more time in clicking your contact, saved simply as, 'Mom'.

Ji Eun: Mom...

You maintained eye contact with him, tinge of nervousness in your pupils, whereas his eyes the complete opposite of yours; strong and steady, undeviatingly piercing through your quivering ones. He signalled you to put the line on speaker as you did so.

Mrs Kim: Hmm... Have you packed your bags?

Your eyebrows relaxed and you sucked in a sharp breath and shifted uncomfortably in his lap, as he nodded to assure you and to speak on.

Ji Eun: No but... I'll accept the marriage thing.

You said closing your eyes, and opening them back again as you could tell how your mom was happy from how she laughed out loud at your words. You bit your lips while your mom spoke before you could say anything else.

Mrs Kim: That's great, Ji Eun. See, it's all alright. Now just pack your bags okay. You'll get your tickets.

Ji Eun: Mom, one thing.

You invaded as soon as you can, before she can cut the call and dream about sitting on stacks of money. She waited for you to continue but instantly went into utter silence when you spoke.

Ji Eun: I want the marriage to happen... here. In South Korea, in Seoul. Please. Just this.

Mrs Kim: Ji Eu-

Ji Eun: Won't it be easier mom? Easier for you to... Get your deal or something? Instead of us getting married there and for you all to come back here to A-Seoul and finish your deal? That would take days time. But this? If I get married here, you can even get your plans done within a day itself.

You spoke, doing your best to convince your mom on this. And as if god came to your side, she agreed. But not completely.

Mrs Kim: Look. I think that's more easier, true. But one thing is, your dad and the guy and his family should be okay with it too. I'm sure his family will be fine with it but not so sure about your dad. We'll see.

Ji Eun: Please mom.

Mrs Kim: Why though?

She asked sternly, while you looked up at him from looking at your caller screen. What should you say now?

Ji Eun: I just want to get married here. Is it too much to ask for?

Mrs Kim: Not really but... Seems like, something's up? Are you planning something dumb by yourself, Ji Eun?

Ji Eun: Well, what exactly can I plan?

You said, as you pursed your lips, trying to tell her how controllable they actually are through your indirect words. Your mom spoke again, giving you a clear answer of what she thinks you are planning on.
