Author's POV

Ji Eun: There is this idiot.

He smirked still playing with your hair and drawing patterns on your back. Just hearing your thought on him and this one line was enough for him to push that New York guy down.

Ji Eun: My parents want him to be my husband. For only one reason and that is for a deal.

You awaited for a reaction to take place on his sharp countenance but he still remained relatively calm. You stopped lying down on his chest and sat straight, turning him needy slowly but arousingly. It wasn't your intention and so, he did not want to let it grow.

Jungkook: Okay...

He asked, expecting a much more elaborated explanation. You sighed but got reminded by your heart to not let your tears stay inside of you. It was basically what he always said to you.

A small pool of tears formed in your socket but soon fell out for it could hold only much. He looked at you who now was looking down trying to control yourself and explain it to him. Looking around, he found your water bottle as he took it.

Jungkook: It's okay. Just that. Remember that it's alright and everything's good. Please don't blame yourself inside of that brain of yours.

You nod slightly as you wiped off your tears harshly and rubbed your eyes gently to get your vision going once again clearly. He had a faint smile playing over his lips, pretty much proud of you but at the same time, a little mad at you for not telling this to him, for whatever reason.

Jungkook: Drink this.

He offered you water after opening the lid as you took it quickly and gulped down huge quantities. A satisfied sigh took off from your mouth, as you completed the bottle which had half the water remaining before.

Jungkook: Now...

The tone made you feel weak. It's not like he suddenly went all out there to beat the truth of out of you. It's just that he never wants this kind of thing to happen again. Sure, he has hid his depression too.

You don't even know he had that heart-rending borehole. That's how well he had dug that infront of you and made it seem like he was always standing and living in a garden with birds and butterflies around him at all times.

He didn't want you to drag this out for which, even after the stretching, the truth was to be out at the finale anyways. So why not just reach it right away? It's also gonna make you feel a lot lighter and make yourself feel at ease, instead of sensing nervous for reaching the end time to reveal things.

Ji Eun: This all started,... I have no clue.

You gulped but continued very soon after that. You looked at him and away, at him and away, like this, repeatedly. You couldn't look at him in the eyes or just his nose or lips.

Ji Eun: But my mom called me one day saying they want me to marry him, so they can get this deal thingy which they have made with that trash.

Ji Eun: Neither did they wish for me to agree to this nor did they seem like they cared. They, in the means, my mom, just called me here and there to remind me about this and compel me into packing my bags as soon as possible.

Jungkook: Pack your bags?

He frowned as a free hand of his tossed your bangs that tumbled about your face and slipped them behind your blood-turned ear.

Ji Eun: Yeah. Pretty sure they didn't set my wedding here. It's in New York only so that they could, right away, get the deal done without any disturbance.
