"Changbin, look at me. Look at me."

Chan's voice was so far away. It echoed. Why was it echoing? Where was I? I was spiraling. My head was spinning. Why won't this ringing stop? Stop fucking ringing! Shut up!

Jisung grabs my head, gazing into my eyes. "It is okay. You're here with us. See me. Smell the room. Feel my hands. You're okay. It's okay. We will find those notes. Look at me."

My eyes go from darting around him to staring at him. Pure fear flowed through my veins. I couldn't decipher what was reality or not. All I knew was that he was in my house.

"We will figure this out together, I promise you. We're not going to let him get away with it. We'll find the notes."

I suck in a breath, blinking a few times in a row. "O-okay."

"Let's lay down. You've been through a lot today. Just for an hour, at least," Chan says, running his fingers through my hair.

They guide me to our bedroom. Chan walks in first, making a certain expression. I try walking in behind him, but he's quick to push both of us out. His eyes are wide. His skin goes pale.

"What?" I ask, my heartbeat picking up for the fifth time tonight. It seemed to never slow down. "What was in there?" I try to push past, but he grabbed me, pushing me away and blocking the door.

"Call the police. Do not go in there," he demands. His face turned cold.

I could only imagine the worst. The rest of whoever's heart it was. I hadn't told them about that.

"What the fuck!" We hear Jisung scream. We both run to his aid. He'd found the box in the kitchen.

As Chan went and closed the box, I escaped to the room. I needed to see what it was. I needed to know. I didn't want to think the worst.

"Changbin, don't!"

I slam open the door, vomit abruptly bubbling in my throat. It was worse. It was so much worse.

A pig. Slaughtered. Hanging from rope tied to the ceiling. The bed covered in blood and roses. On the wall, written in blood: "You have stolen my heart. I'll never let you go."

Chan grabs my wrist, pushing me out of the room. "What the hell is wrong with you! I told you to stay out!"

"Chan, don't yell at him!" Jisung defends.

My limbs go numb. My heart pounds. There's eight of them standing there. Nausea overcomes me. My world tips upside down. Gone.
