Gerard could hardly wait for this end of term break from school. He was truly exhausted and planned on a lazy weekend before him and Frank had a few days out that they had planned together.

Opening his eyes, the late Saturday morning sun peaked through a gap in his curtains, bathing Frank in a soft glow which had him looking almost angelic. Gerard sat up and propped himself against the headboard and just looked at his beloved Frankie. His long eyelashes rested against the top of his cheeks and his lips slightly parted, breathing gently. He seemed truly peaceful and Gerard couldn't take his eyes off him. He sank back down and gently draped an arm over Frank, lying close and taking in his scent.

Frank stirred and rolled onto his side, eyes fluttering open slightly finding Gerard's wide eyes looking straight at him. He sighed and ran his hand through Gerard's hair lovingly.

"Morning Gee" he said in a croaky voice.

"Morning Gorgeous" Gerard replied.

"You been watching me again babe?" Frank asked with a chuckle.

"I can't help it baby. You're just so fucking adorable" Gerard smiled.

Frank wrapped his arms around Gerard and pulled him closer, nuzzling into his neck and breathing deeply.

"Love you Gee" he whispered, clearly still sleepy.

Gerard squeezed him close and returned the words before he heard Frank gently begin to snore again.

He held him close for a while, before quietly leaving the bed to make coffee.

He sipped on his coffee and scrolled through Instagram for a little while, taking in everybody's mundane posts about whatever shit they had going on in their lives.

He stopped scrolling when he came upon a photo of Lindsey. She was lay in bed looking very sorry for herself.

'Feel like shit. Pretty sure my drink was spiked last night and not to hard to guess who by #wonttakenoforananswer'

'What the hell?' Gerard thought to himself. 'Won't take no for an answer'. She's one to talk.'

He had no idea why she thought her drink had been spiked. He didn't even believe she was drunk after the way she had threatened him. An uneasy feeling settled in the pit of his stomach as he quickly exited the app and went to make Frank coffee.

Frank was stretching awake as he entered the bedroom.

"Thanks babe" he yawned taking the cup from Gerard.

"You okay?" he asked.

Gerard opened his phone again and scrolled to Lindsey's post showing Frank.

"Spiked?" Frank inquired. "Jesus Christ. I'd better call her check she's ok."

"What do you think she means by that hashtag?" Gerard asked.

Frank looked at it and shrugged. "No idea" he replied. "I'll call and speak to her."

Frank picked up his phone and dialed Lindsey's number. Gerard could only hear one half of the conversation, but Frank's face was cold as he listened. Once he'd hung up, he told Gerard that Lindsey had said someone had been hassling her for some time, and even though she'd said she wasn't interested, he wouldn't leave her be.

"Sounds familiar" Gerard sneered.

"Hey" Frank snapped back. "Not cool man. She's really upset."

Frank left to shower and Gerard decided not to bring it up again. He still felt uneasy but had to accept that Frank and Lindsey had been friends for a long time, and Frank was somewhat protective of her even after the shit show she'd been putting on since Gerard's arrival.
