Chapter Ninety-Three

Craig's POV
Today's the day, May 18th. GRADUATION DAY!!! And what am I doing, sitting on the couch watching The Lion King. Both mine and Nini's favorite movie. It's only 12:34 in the afternoon and graduation don't start until 8:00 but the seniors have to be there at 7:45 to get ready.

Right now, I am so bored. I can't hang out with the boys because they are all busy. Nini is out with her family on her mom's side so I won't be able to see her until tonight. Speaking of Nini, I was thinking about her all last night, I'm ready to move to the next level in out relationship. I love this girl so much, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have her in my life. She is my everything, my queen, my baby. Mom was right, we both been through a lot of stuff during are relationship, April and other people trying to split us up, her being in the hospital and we stayed strong and I'm ready to take it up a notch. I'm not going to stay here all day, I got up from the couch and walked up the stairs and into the my room. I walked into my bathroom and turned on the showerwaiting for it to warm up. I stripped out of my clothes and stepped inside the shower and happily sighed as the warm water hit my body. I grabbed my axe body wash and squirted it in my rag before washing my body. After I was done freshing up, I turned off the water before grabbing a towel and wrapping it around my waist. I walked back into my room and dried off my body, I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of my boxers and put them on. I then pulled out a gray T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans, I grabbed my gray kds and put them on. I grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket before going down the stairs. I picked up my keys from the counter and walked out of the door, I walked over to my car and got in before cutting on the car and pulling out of the drive way. I started driving down the road until I was stopped by a train. Waiting for the train to end, I pulled out my phone and got on Instagram. I was scrolling down my newsfeed when I saw a picture of Nini and three boys was behind her and they was all doing fun faces.

Beautiful_Nique: It's so good to see my family again.

I liked her picture and continued to scroll down until the train for finally ended, I put my phone up and drove off. I pulled up into the mall's parking lot and parked my car. I turned it off before I stepped out of my car, I walked into the mall and looked around the stores. I walked into the Kay's jewelry store and I started looking at the counter. I looked behind me to see a woman who I guess is the worker here was struggling to get a box from a counter.

Me: Hey, do you need help?

Woman: Oh my goodness, yes.

She got down the steps and stood back as I got on the steps. I grabbed the box from the top shelf and stepped down before giving her the box. She grabbed the box from me and smiled.

Woman: Thank you so much, you are so sweet.

Me: Thank you.

Woman: So, what can I help you with?

Me: Well, I'm looking for a ring for my girlfriend.

Woman: Aww, ok well, here's all the rings and you can pick one.

I was looking at the rings and let me tell y'all, there was a lot of rings for me to choose from, but there was one ring that caught my eye, this ring had my baby's name on it.

Me: I'll take that one.

Woman: Ok, what size is she?

Me: She's a size seven.

The woman grabbed the ring and put it in a black box and put it in a bag.

Me: Ok, so how much will this cost?

Woman: Well, it cost $26,000, but since you helped me and all that I'm going to cut it down to $2,600.

I gave her the money as she gave me the bag, I waved at her before walking out of the store. I went to a Chinese stand and ordered me some food. I sat down and begin to eat my food.

After I was done eating, I threw the plate away and walked out of the mall and walked towards my car. I got inside and turned on the ignition, I pulled out of the parking lot and drove back to my house. Once I got back home, I got out of he car and walked into the house to see that my family was all talking and giving me hugs and kisses. I looked over at my mom was crying in Terry's arms. Oh Lord. She walked up to me before pulling me into a tight hug, I hugged her back.

Wanda: Oh my gosh, my baby is graduating today.

I just laughed, I swear I love my mom.

Wanda: My baby is growing up to be a young adult.

Craig Sr.: Yes he is, and I just want to say that I am a very proud father and I happy to have a son like you.

Hearing him say that just made me so happy. Some of these daddies don't give a fuck if they're kids graduate or not but I'm glad to be in a family where they do care about me and my future.

Wanda: Now how about we have a family dinner.

Me: Ok, I have to put something in my room first.

As the family went to the kitchen, I walked up the stairs and tobmu room where I put the box in my tuxedo jacket. I walked back down the stairs and walked to the kitchen where I sat down and enjoyed the family time with my family.

Today has been a fun day for me, after we was done eating, my uncles took me out to the arcade. I know it sounds childish but I like the arcade so don't judge me, then me and my cousin got back into the pool and swam for a little and after I took my shower me and Terry played on the Xbox. Now I'm in my room putting on my clothes and getting ready for tonight. I looked into the mirror to check myself out and I look good, I grabbed my phone and made sure the ring was in my pocket. I walked down the stairs only to hear my family clapping and cheering for me making me chuckle.

Mary: My, my Craig, you look nice.

Me: Thanks grandma.

Stacy: Dang Craig, you working that outfit.

Me: Well, what can I say.

I looked at the clock ⏰to see it was now 7:25. I have to hurry up and get to the school.

Me: Ok, I have to get to the school so I'll just see y'all there.

Wanda: Ok.

I grabbed my keys and walked out of the house, I walked to my car and turned it on. I pulled out of the driveway and started making my way to the school.
