Chapter Sixty-Eight

Dominique was putting her clothes into a bag and getting all packed up for Craig's house since she was going to spend the night with him, after she was done, she grabbed her phone and charger before walking out of the door of her bedroom and down the stairs where she saw her mom, dad, and Dominic sitting on the couch.

Dominique: Well I'm leaving.

Tammy: Have fun baby.

Dominique: Ok.

Kevin: And tell Craig we said happy birthday.

Dominique: I will, bye.

Tammy&Kevin: Bye.

Dominique grabbed her keys from the counter and walked out the door to her car, she got into her car and put her keys in the ignition before cranking it up and pulling out of the driveway and started making her way to Craig's house. As she was driving down the road and was stopped at the stoplight, her phone started ringing. She picked it up and saw that Baylee was calling her, she clicked the answer button and put the phone up to her ear.

Dominique: Hello.

Baylee: Hey girlie, you're on your way to Craig's house?

Dominique: Yeah.

Baylee: Ok, now tell me what's up with the comments with you and Craig.

Dominique: Nothing, I was messing with him.

Baylee: Well, he's going to get you when you get to his house.

Dominique: I know😏.

Baylee: I'll talk to you later, I'm in my room and I have Jacob waiting on me downstairs.

Dominique: Ok.

Baylee: Bye boo.

Dominique: Bye.

Dominique hunged up her phone and drove off when the light turned green. She got to Craig's house and parked her car, she turned off the car before getting out and walking up to the door where she knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it. Wanda come to the door and opened to see Dominique smiling.

Wanda: Hey Dominique.

Dominique: Hey Wanda.

Wanda: Come on in sweetheart.

Dominique walked in the house and turned around and looked at Wanda who was closing the door and turning back around.

Wanda: You can take your stuff to Craig's room.

Dominique: Ok.

Dominique walked up the stairs into Criag's room, she set her bag on the bed and her Phone on his nightstand before walking back down the stairs to see that Wanda was just comeing out of the kitchen while wiping her hands.

Wanda: Come on sweetheart, everybody is down the basement.

Dominique: Ok.

Wanda and Dominique walked down the basement where they heard loud music blasting and people cheering, when they made it to the bottom step Dominique saw that everybody from Thanksgiving was all there, Craig Sr. turned around and smiled when he saw Dominique.

Craig Sr.: Hey Dominique, how are you doing?

Dominique: I'm doing good.

Craig Sr.: That's good.
