Chapter Forty-Five

Craig pulled up into his driveway and parked his car in the garage and turned off the ignition, he looked over at Dominique who was looking at all the cars. Craig grabbed Dominique's hand making her look at him.

Craig: You ready to meet the family?

Dominique: Yeah.

Craig kissed Dominique on her hand and got out the car and opened the door for Dominique to get out of the car. They walked to the front of the house. Craig looked over at Dominque who was taking deep breaths, he turned her around making her look up at him.

Criag: You Ok?

Dominique: yeah, just a little nervous.

Craig: It's ok,they will love you.

Dominique smiled at Craig and pecked him on his lips making him smile, he opened the door and walked inside making Dominique's eyes get big. She saw a lot of people in the house talking, laughing, and playing around.

Dominique: Wow.

Craig:-chuckles- I know.

Wanda:-excited- Dominique!!

Craig and Dominique both turned their heads to see Wanda walking up to them, she hugged Dominique making her hug her back.

Wanda: I'm so glad you're here to spend Thanksgiving with us.

Dominique: I am too.

Craig Sr.: Dominique.

Dominique: Hey!

Craig Sr. pulled Dominique into a hug and squeezed her tightly making her laugh.

Craig Sr.: It's so good to see you again.

Dominique: It's good to see you too.

Wanda: Dominique, you just don't know how excited Craig was about you coming to spend time with us.

Craig Sr.: Yeah, he was going around telling everybody how beautiful you are and how you are the love of his life.

Dominique looked down and started blushing.

Wanda: Aww, she's blushing.

Dominique hid her face into her hands blushing even more, Craig started chuckling as he grabbed Dominique and pulling her into his chest. He kissed her on her forehead making her look up at him and smile.

Craig: Let's go meet the family.

Dominique: Ok.

Craig grabbed her hand and walked her into the kitchen where they saw women talking and laughing while cooking the food. Wanda walked in and sat at the table.

Craig: Hey y'all, it sure smells good in here.

Wanda: That's because we all are some good cooks.

Craig: I know, hey, I want y'all to meet my girlfriend, Dominique, Dominique this is my family. You already know my mom, right beside her is her sister Angie, the one over at the stove is my cousins Stacy, Alice and Joan. And that one right there is my grandma Mary.

Dominique: It's nice to meet y'all.

Mary: It's nice to meet you too.

Angie: Damn Craig, you got a pretty girl.

Dominique;-smiles- Thanks you.

Mary: Come here sweetheart.

Dominique got out of Craig's arms and walked up to his grandma, she sat in the seat beside her and looked up at her. Mary grabbed Dominique's hand and smiled at her as Dominique smiled back, Craig and the women watched as Mary started to rub Dominique on her hand.
