Chapter Thirty-Two

Haley woked up and started to look around to see that she was laying in her bed, she turned her head to she Santo sitting at her desk with his head down sleeping. She started to smile as she notice that Santo looked really cute when he was asleep, she touched the side of her face which made her groan in pain. Santo woked up after hearing her groan, he looked at her to see that she was slowly sitting herself up. He got out of the chair and walked over to her.

Santo: You're awake.

haley: Yeah.

Santo: Are you ok?

Haley:I'm fine, it's just my face hurts.

Santo: Hold on.

Santo left the room, Haley just stayed still and rub her hands through her hair. After about two minutes, Santo came back into her room with a bag of ice in his heands. He sat down on her bed and put the bag on her face making her jump a little.

Haley: It's cold.

Santo: I know, but it will help the swelling go down.

Haley smile at Santo before taking the bag from him and holding it on her face herself.

Haley: What time is it?

Santo: Seven-thirty-six.

Haley's eyes got wide when she heard how late it was.

Haley: Oh shit, I was suppose to go get my brother from school.

Sanro: Hey, calm sown, Your brother is ok. Baylee and Jacob got him.

Haley: They do?

Santo: Yeah, they took him to go get some ice-cream and then took him to the park.

Haley: Ok.

She laid her head on the head board and sighed in relief, she then thought of something.She looked over at Santo as he looked back at her.

Santo: How did you get past my mom and her boyfriend?

Santo: I parked my car into the driveway across from your house and waited until your parents left the house and I walked into the house.

Haley: How did you get in?

Santo: The key from under the mat.

Haley: True.

Santo:Yeah, I walked into your room and saw you still knocked out so I stayed in here and watched over you to make sure you was ok, that was until I got sleepy and fell asleep.

Haley: Yeah, I saw that and has anyone ever told you that you look really adorable when you're asleep.

Santo:-laughs- Nah, not really.

Haley: Well you do.

Santo: Thanks.

Haley: I wonder how Dominique's doing.

Santo: Carig called me earlier and told me that she was doing better.

Haley: That's good.

Santo: I'm glad she's doing ok, but I'm mostly worried about you.

Haley: I'm fine Santo.

Santo: I wish I have never left you, if I would have known that you would have got hurt...

Haley: But you didn't know, none of us did.
