Chapter Forty-Four

-Skip to Thanksgiving Day-

It was 5:46 in the evening and Dominique was having a fit about meeting the rest of Craig's family, right now she's talking to Baylee about how she might not go over to Craig's.

Dominique:Baylee, you just don't know how nervous I am.

Baylee: Girl, stop worrying about it, they will love you.

Dominique: Baylee, this is his whole family we are talking about, what if something goes wrong?

Baylee: Nothing is going to go wrong girl, his family is going to love you.

Dominique: But what if they think that I'm not good enough for him?

Baylee: They're not going to think that, you are worrying for nothing.

Dominique: But Baylee...

Baylee: D, I have to go ok, but listen. Nothing is going to happen, you are going to have a great time with his family, everything is going to go smoothly. Now what time is he coming to come you up?

Dominique: He said 6:30.

Baylee: Ok, I want you to go get ready and have a good time. His family is going to love you like his parents do and if something does to wrong, you got my number.

Dominique:-laughs- Ok, thanks Bay.

Baylee: You're welcome, bye boo.

Dominique: Bye.

Dominique hanged up her phone and put it on her charger, she walked into her bathroom and turned on her shower. She stripped out of her clothes and got into the shower letting the warm water hit her body, she stayed in there for a while before grabbing the soap and rag and started washing her whole body. After that, she grabbed her Fresh Mountain Strawberry shampoo knowing that was Criag's favorite and started washing her hair, after she was done with that she rinsed the soap out of her hair and body. She turned the water off and wrapped a towel around her waist and stepped out of the shower, she walked into her room and sat down in chair in front of her mirror and blow dried her hair. Once her hair was all dry, she got up and from her seat and dried her body off and lotioned herself down and put on her underwear and bra, she looked in her closet and looked for a really good outfit. She continued to looked for some clothes when she saw a red sweater with a hood on it, she grabbed it out of her closet and put it on the bed. She went over to her drawer and grabbed a pair a black skinny jeans and put it on top of her sweater, she went back into the bathroom and looked herself in the mirror and she started thinking about something. She grabbed her phone and took a picture of herself wearing her matching bra and panties and sent it to Craig, she walked back into her room and put on her clothes on.She walked back over to her drawer and grabbed a pair of socks and put it on. Domiique walked to her closet and grabbed her red boots. She walked back over and sat down on her bed, just as she was about to put her boots on her phone beeped letting her kown that she has gotten a text. She picked up her phone and clicked the home screen botton to see that Craig had text her back.

Craig's Text:

Baby, you just dont know what you're doing to me.

Dominique started laughing as she read Craig's text, she put her phone back down and put on her boots. She walked back over at the mirror and started doing her hair, her hair was in a curly side ponytail. She put on her mascara, eyeliner, and some lip gloss. She looked at herself in the mirror to make sure she looked alright when she heard her phone ringing, she walked over to the bed and picked up her phone to see it was here mom calling her. She pressed the answer botton and put it up to her ear.

Phone Conv.

Dominique: Hello.

Tammy: Hey baby.

Dominique: Hey mami, whatcha up to?

Tammy: Nothing, I'm on break right now so I decided to call and check up on you.

Dominique: Well, I'm just waiting on Craig to come pick me up.

Tammy: You excited.

Dominique:-sighs- I guess.

Tammy: Toots, you don't sound excited.

Dominique: I am, but...

Tammy: But what baby?

Dominique: Mami, I am very nervous about meeting the rest of his family.

Tammy: What are you nervous about?

Dominique: What if his family don't like me and think I'm not good enough for him?

Tammy: Is that why your so nervous?

Dominique: Yes, what if he would start to listen to what his family is talking about and fall out of love with me?

Tammy: Toots...

Dominique: And what if they tell him I'm not the right girl for him?

Tammy: Toots...

Dominique: Or what if they think...you know what? I'm just going to call him up and tell him I'm not going.

Tammy: Toots, don't do that.

Dominique: Mami, I'm just so scared.

Tammy: I know honey, me and you fater was the same thing when we was about to meet each others family members.

Dominique: Y'all was?

Tammy: Yep?

Dominique: And how did it go?

Tammy: It went really well, we got along with each others family members and everything.

Dominique: They didn't mind that you was puerto rican?

Tammy: No they thought it was cute that he was with me, but anyway toots, if he really loved you, he wouldn't care what his family thinks about you.

Dominique: But I want them to like me.

Tammy: Not everybody is going to like you Dominique, but as long as y'all love each other, that's all that matters, you hear me?

Dominique: Yes mam.

Tammy: Good, now go meet his family and have fun,, and if anyone of them hurt you just come tell us and we will handle it ok.

Dominique: Ok, I love you mami.

Tammy: I love you too and I will see you when you get home.

Dominique: Ok, bye mami.

Tammy: Bye baby.

Dominique hanged up her phone and put it in her pockets, she laid down on her bed and started thinking about what might happen at Craig's house, her thoughts was intterupted when she heard a knock on the door. She quickly got out of the bed and looked in the mirror before walking down the stairs and walking up to the door. She opned the door to see Craig wearing a gray long sleeve shirt that said "BOSS" going across the chest, some black jean pants and some gray vans.

Craig: Hey babe.

Dominique: Hey.

Craig walked up to Dominique and kissed her making her kiss back, they pulled back and smiled at each other.

Craig: You look sexy.

Dominique: Thanks, you look good too.

Craig: Thanks babe, you ready to go?

Dominique: Yeah.

Craig: Ok.

Craig grabbed Dominique's hand as they walked to his car, he opened the door for her and watched as she got in. He closed the door and got on his side and got in, he started up the car and pulled out of the driveway an drove off to his house.
