Gary's POV

As expected all of the paps that had been at the airport were now in front of my house. I quickly jumped back into the car, where my security was waiting for me, ignoring all the questions that were thrown at me. When I sat inside and we were driving I closed my eyes for a second and sighed.

I thought to myself "How the fuck is it possible that this has happened? I mean I knew that this would happen sooner or later, but definitely not this soon. I mean how the fuck did they even manage to get pictures of me and Rob inside a 5 star hotel?! Hang on. What if Robbie did this on purpose? No. He wouldn't do that."
-----

As we pulled up outside the building where our management sat I groaned, already knowing what awaited me.

When I finally managed to get inside the building I was greeted by a worried looking Elisa, my PA. She started as we were hurriedly walking towards the lift "Gary, Jonathan is not amused, the PR is furious, the fans are excited and the boys are confused. They are all upstairs, well except for the fans obviously. You need to be calm towards them."

I nodded "Yeah. Thanks for the info. Could you please call my wife and tell her not to wait for me?"

She smiled "Yeah sure. Anything else?"

I shook my head "You're the best. No, nothing else."
-----

The lift pinged and opened. I sighed and hurried over to the conference room that all our band meetings always took place. I more or less swung the door open with such force that it banged against the wall.

I stood in the doorstep and looked into 7 faces that had the exact emotions on them that Elisa had described. I was just as speechless as they were.

I looked from left to right I saw our PR team, shooting death glares at me and one of them dared to snarl "Look who finally made it."

I murmured inaudibly "Fuck off."

My gaze wandered over to our manager Jonathan, who had his lips pressed into a thin line.

And then there were the boys, looking worried and confused at the floor, occasionaly taking a quick glance at me.

I closed my eyes and then pushed out "So what on earth has happened?"

Jonathan sighed and gestured for me to come closer to the table. I quickly got over and saw lots of papers on the table. The top one was from the 'Daily Mail'.

My jaw dropped as I read the headline.

Back for Good: Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams friends again!

Then I read the article:

"Former bandmates and now enemys Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams have been seen hugging each other at a hotel in Italy. It has been said that Barlow (37) was staying there with wife Clara (32) and two month old son James for holidays when the incident happened yesterday. Anonymous sources have been saying that Williams (34) had been seen in front of the hotel, unsure about going inside. Later he had been waiting inside the Lounge Bar, when Barlow came down. They were seen talking and then smiling, later hugging. Both Barlow and Williams were crying. Will this be an end of their feud and the start of the Take That reunion the fans hope for?"

The others were not better. It was all the same really, only the songs in the titles were different, 'Everything Changes' or 'Could It Be Magic' for example.

I gasped and looked around the room. Everyone was looking at me expectantly. I didn't know what to say. I looked at the boys, helpless, but I knew they couldn't help me with this.

I sighed and then got it out, my voice must have been barely audible "Yes. I met Rob. And yes. We spoke."

One of the PR's rolled her eyes "And? Thanks for the work Barlow." Anger took over, as she certainly didn't have the right to speak with me like that.

I hissed "Quit speaking to me that way or you'll be out of work sooner than you can even say your name, got that?!"

She gasped and nodded.

I sighed again and asked way calmer "Can I please speak to the lads first? Alone."

Jonathan nodded and gestured for everyone to head out of the room. He closed the door behind him and I looked up at the lads.

"What happened Gaz?" Mark asked.

Jason joined and put his hand on my shoulder "Come on. We are not mad at you or anything."

'Okay here we go' I thought to myself and nodded. We talked about it all for about twenty minutes. We decided that if Rob really wants to be in contact with us again, we would be willing to do give him the chance, but also that he needed to be the one to make the first step, because we knew how changable his mind was.

Then we let the others back in and told them what we wanted and strangely enough everyone respected our wishes. By the time I left it was already 9 o'clock. I felt guilty towards Clara, because she had to look after James and organise all our laundry after having to cut her holiday short and being put through unnecessary stress all because of me.
------

I quietly opened the door to my house. I could see light in the living room, so I quietly went there "Hi."

Clara spun around, her hand on her heart "Gary! You scared me!"

I pulled her towards me, wrapped my arms around her waist and gave her a kiss "Sorry."

She giggled "It's fine. You hungry?"

"Mhm...very."

"Good. Come on." She pulled me into the kitchen and sat me down "I've made some chicken with rice, I hope that's okay?"

I smiled "Perfect."

Clara placed my plate in front of me and then sat down beside me.

I chuckled "You really don't listen when I say you don't have to wait, do you?"

She blushed "I wasn't tired yet and I wanted to be there for you, in case something happened and you needed someone, you know?"

I put my hand against her cheek and brushed my thumb over it "Aww...Well, it went quite good actually, as good as can be I guess. But I will tell you more tomorrow, if you want to, I'm very tired actually."

She nodded "Sure."
