Esten awoke alone in the bed, the side where Ashton had once been now empty and cold. He sat upright and rubbed at the sleep in his eyes before standing and putting on something to wear, then heading out into the living room to search for his lover.

"Baby," Esten called sweetly, coarsing through the hallway and living room. He eventually found Ashton, standing on the opposing side of the room, presumably cooking breakfast.

"Ashton, hi." Esten smiled when his boyfriend turned. Ashton smiled back, telling Ashton how he was making scrambled eggs.

That explains what that putrid smell was. Esten thought, but instead put on an even larger smile before hugging Ashton and thanking him. He hoped he'd be able to stomach the eggs; however, he was fatally allergic to dairy, and aside from that, he hated the smell of eggs, which lead him to believe he would hate the taste.

Afraid to hurt Ashton's feelings, Esten shovelled the eggs down when they were handed to him. He decided he would visit the doctor later, when Ashton was busy.

"Is something burning?" Sadie now entered the room, hair thrown into a bun.

"No, what the fuck? Doesn't that smell delicious?" Esten felt the extreme need to defend Ashton at all costs, no matter how rude he would have to be. He'd gotten used to the terrible smell by now, and was trying his best not to upchuck.

"Whatever. Anyway, lovebirds, y'all are disgusting. Don't think the entire neighbourhood didn't hear you last night." The boys blushed at that, and Ashton immediately excused himself to the restroom, claiming he had to "drop a load".

The two shrugged his attitude off and dove into a conversation about how the sex was, if it hurt, and more.

When he retired to his room at about one, Esten sighed contently before putting on Orange is the New Black. Finally, after all these years, he could finally be with the love of his life,
Ashton Irwin.
