Desert
"Why have you called me?" Father asks. "Well, I need more of those worm creatures." I say, getting to the point quickly. It was not wise to waste Father's time.
"Why? I gave you five! One for each of those idiotic dragonets!" Father burst out. "I had a few casualties. And had to use some of them. Sorry." I say with no real remorse.
"Desert, Desert, Desert... I will deliver them tomorrow myself." Father said. "Okay... Wait what!?" I exclaimed. "You're coming here yourself?"
"Yes. Do you have a problem with that?" Father asked. "No." I lie. "Good." And with that he left.

I woke up early, to get ready for Father's arrival. Everything had to be perfect. Not one mistake. Otherwise... I didn't want to think about that.
Where are you going? Asked a familiar voice.
You again. I thought I had dealt with you.
No, you didn't. I'm still here aren't I?
UGH. Get out. I slammed down my mental barrier.
You can't get rid of me that easily. I learned I few tricks while I was silent.
I groaned. Shut up.
Ouch. Now, where are you going?
I stopped, I had reached the meeting place. It was a beautiful valley. A variety of flowers bloomed everywhere. An odd place. But it was somewhere nobody would expect. I sat down on a rock, ignoring the annoying IceWing in my head.
After 10 minutes of waiting, I heard some rustling in the bushes. I looked up. There he was.
"Father." I say bowing down deeply. "Desert." Father says. "It is good to see you."
"Same to you. Now, about the worms?" I ask. "Well, let's put it this way, I have a change of plans." Father says.
Suddenly he jumped on me. I stumbled backwards, I was not expecting this! "F-father? What are you doing?" I ask, scared. Instead of answering he reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the worm-like creatures. I twisted in his grip.
"I can be forgiving, but I'm not feeling it right now. Anyways I have found someone quite more capable." He dropped the worm onto my scales and jumped away. Another hooded figure stepped out.
"I was knew you were going to do that any day now." said a smooth voice. The last thing I saw was the hooded figure take off her hood.
Rattlesnake.
