Today's story involves a rivalry between two villains from two fighting game series. Nine the Phantom Witch from BlazBlue, and Goddess Justice of Guilty Gear.
Why? Well, let's just say that the Guilty Gear villainess had messed with the Phantom Witch's most prized possession, and if BlazBlue taught us anything, is that Nine the Phantom Witch can carry long grudges if she feeds them for too long.
Aside from the Phantom Witch, we're having a team to help her. Because the union makes the strength.
Let's get started!
{Location: The Phantom Witch's Home...} ("Stolen Clarinet") [SpongeBob SquarePants: Atlantis SquarePantis (Nintendo DS Version)]
Nine the Phantom Witch: Celica! I'm home! Did you miss me?!
(She sees her home trashed)
Nine the Phantom Witch: This is weird... Celica usually leaves the house sparkling clean...
(She finds a note)
Nine the Phantom Witch: ...What's this?
Note: "Dear Phantom Witch, I have decided to take Celica A. Mercury for myself. Since she has a mechanized helper, it would benefit my cause greatly. And don't think you'll ever see her again. She's going to be working for me for the rest of her life! Signed, Justice."
Nine the Phantom Witch: ...So, Celica got kidnapped, eh?
(Her blood starts to boil)
Nine the Phantom Witch: I HATE YOUR CYCLE OF LIFE, VERMILLION!
(She leaves the house and slams the door on the way out)
Nine the Phantom Witch: Whoever this Justice is, they will regret ever kidnapping MY Celica A. Mercury!
(She then stops)
Nine the Phantom Witch: Wait, what if this enemy is a tough cookie to beat...? Even though I proposed to destroy the world myself, Noel Vermillion's friends always beat me when they're together...
(She gets an idea)
Nine the Phantom Witch: So, if they always win with their teamwork, then if I use the power of teamwork against this enemy I can have Celica A. Mercury back with me!
(She makes a little laugh)
Nine the Phantom Witch: Delightfully Devilish, Nine! Now, who should I get for teammates? I surely won't stain my pride for asking Noel Vermillion to help me. I'm way prideful to ask my worst enemy for help.
(She takes out a list)
Nine the Phantom Witch: Let's see... Who would make a good teammate for my task of saving Celica?
(She focuses on a special name first)
Nine the Phantom Witch: Oh, quirky and electric powers? Sounds nice!
(She focuses on another name)
Nine the Phantom Witch: Extremely shy but knows her way with archery? Interesting.
(She focuses on another name)
Nine the Phantom Witch: Well, a magic-user from a royal family as well? Good! Now, let's bring my vision forward!
(She teleports away)
