Loucille could feel her phone going off in the right pocket of her dress as she took quick, hurried steps away from the man who broke her heart. She couldn't stand there and hear him speak about their breakup any longer, her heart hurt too much and mind was too angry.
"Loucille, wait!" Dylan calls, rushing to catch up with her. "Please just let me finish!"
The girl halts her steps, shocking the man when she spun in rage and shoved at his chest. "I don't want to hear anything more that you have to say! You had no right, Dylan. No fucking right!"
"I know!" he yells back, holding onto her wrist to keep her from pushing him again. "I know I messed up and I've regretted it every breathing moment, Lou, I swear to you."
"You don't get to do that right now." she sniffles, shaking her tears away and pulling her hands back. "You...you hurt me in ways I- way that I never could've imagined. Especially from you.
"I only wanted what was best for you."
"That wasn't your fucking call to make!"
Dylan stood quiet as she lashed out, knowing he was way too far in the wrong in their situation. His heart hurt so bad in his chest as he watched her sob, knowing there was nothing he could do because he was the reason. He was the reason she was this hurt.
