Demi's POV

"You like me?" I ask and he chuckles looking down and then nodding.

"Yes. I thought I made that clear already?" He asks and I nod when I think back to when we first went out. He actually initiated it and hit me up on Instagram a week after Wilmer and I broke up. I ignored him at first because I was still heartbroken, but it didn't take long for me to finally agree after the persistance and surprise flowers he kept sending me.

"But you stopped. I figured all you wanted was sex because you didn't seem as interested after that." I say quietly and he rolls his eyes.

"Because you made it clear that you didn't want anything. I didn't want to pressure you or anything, so I just let you be and backed off a little. When you said you were coming to New York again I had planned on telling you all that but then you sprang the whole pregnancy thing on me." He says leaning against the counter and I take a deep breath.

"I'm having a baby Odell. This baby could possibly not be yours." I say and he looks down and nods.

"I know that. I know there's that chance, but I really do believe he's mine. I just know it Demi." He says with such a convincing voice that I believed him. "And if he's not. If he by chance isn't, I will still be here. Because I want to be with you and I don't care who's baby you're carrying to do that." He continues as he walks around the counter and over towards me.

"I don't know if I'm ready." I whisper as he stands right in front of me and he nods.

"That's fine. I understand." He replies and I smile. "You we're with someone for six years, you thought you were gonna be with him for the rest of your life. This is a lot on you and I get that. You got out of a relationship ready to be single and live your life, find what you really want. Now all the sudden you're pregnant and I'm throwing my feelings at you." He says as he leans against the counter and I smile a little bigger as I stand up.

"I like you too." I say quietly and he smiles bigger. "But I'm not ready for a serious relationship." I then continue but he just nods and places his hands on my waist.

"That's okay. We can do whatever you're comfortable with." He responds and I take a deep breath as I lean up on my tippy toes and connect our lips. He hesitated at first, but it didn't take long for him to run his hands around my back to pull me closer and I smiled against his lips.

"Okay, we need to stop." I say pulling away when I feel my stomach clench in desire.

"Okay." He mumbles as he licks his lips and I groan as I step away from him.

"Stop looking at me like that." I say walking away and he chuckles.

"Okay." He repeats and I roll my eyes already knowing he has that ridiculous but sexy smirk on his face. That night I saw another side of Odell. I've seen his goofy side and his cocky/sexy side, but that night I saw his sweet side. His caring side and it just made me fall that much harder. He left the next morning to meet his team that had just landed so he could practice and then he was at a hotel the rest of the weekend. I invited a couple people from my team as well as my dad to his football game on Sunday. Everyone had plans already except for my dad so here we are both in the sky box watching his game.

"So can I ask what's going on with you and this guy?" My dad asks and I gulp nervously as I look over at him to see him staring out towards the field.

"We're friends." I answer quietly as I shift uncomfortably in my seat.

"A friend invited you to his football game?" He asks looking over at me with raised brows and I twist my lips.

"We went out a couple times. We're just getting to know each other really. I promise this isn't a relationship or anything." I say and he furrows his brows.
