"If I would have known how obsessed you would be with that ring, then I would have given you a ring pop instead." Odell jokes as he walks into our bedroom and I smile as I look up at him.
"And I still would be just as obsessed." I reply as he gets into the bed with breakfast. It's now the next morning and Odell and I spent the entire night showing each other how much we love one another. "How long have you been planning this? It seems like awhile." I ask him after I took a bite of a piece of fruit.
"Since Carter was born. I knew I wanted to marry you even before then, but seeing you give birth just escalated that feeling. I asked your dad for approval and then your mom demanded she help pick out the ring and I was totally okay with that because I had no idea what you even liked. She then enlisted Maddie and Dallas also, so a long time." He explains with a small chuckle and I smile big as I divert my attention to the large diamond glistening in the sunlight since our balcony doors were wide open. "I then asked Matthew and Dallas to help plan out how I would do it and they both said you were a hopeless romantic which I already knew, so I knew it had to be special and perfect." He continues.
"Well it was better than perfect baby. I can't wait to marry you." I reply as I lean up to kiss him. "So you really meant it when you said you wanted to be married before next year?" I ask and he nods.
"As long as that's what you want. If you want to wait, then we can. Whatever you want, I don't care as long as I get to call you my wife." He answers as he runs his fingers along my waist.
"I want to also. I want to marry you as soon as possible. I just don't know how we will plan a wedding when I'm expected to go on tour next year." I breathe out as we start eating.
"We will figure it out." He tells me and I nod. After we ate breakfast, we decided to announce the engagement because I think we were both so excited and couldn't wait.
