I Can't Even Concentrate

Demi's POV

Bora Bora was absolutely amazing with Odell. Part of me didn't want to leave because then we had to get back to the real world, but another bigger part of me couldn't wait to snuggle and kiss me baby again. I missed him so much that I don't even know how I'm going to work and travel and be away from him sometimes. We just landed and Max is driving us home now. I'm still half asleep because it's super late and I was asleep on the plane up until I got woken up.

"I can't wait to see Carter. I missed him so much." I say and Odell smiles and nods.

"Me too. I missed my little man." He says back and I chuckle and nod. "Like I even miss his crying in the middle of the night." He continues laughing and I nod.

"Me too. It's nice for like a day, but after that, I just want to be around him." I tell him and he nods. It took about half an hour until we finally pulled up to our house and we got out and headed inside. Even though Heather had Carter at her house, she came by to ours today so we could see Carter as soon as we got home. I greeted the dogs before going straight upstairs into Carters room that he now sleeps in full time. Every once in awhile he will wake up at night to be fed, but he mostly sleeps through the night now. I walked over to his crib and smiled big when I saw him peacefully sleeping. I scooped him up into my arms gently and kissed him softly before walking into our bedroom where Odell was at.

"I assume he's sleeping with us tonight?" Odell asks quietly and I nod smiling as I lay him down in the middle of the bed. I watch him for a few minutes kissing him and loving up on him before I go change and get ready for bed. It didn't take long for us to fall asleep, but we both woke up pretty early because Carter had woken up. He was so cute when he realized that Odell and I were there and immediately cuddled into my chest melting my heart. I let him breast feed and when he was done, we let him roll around on the bed and played with him until Odell got hungry so we went downstairs to eat. I was bouncing Carter in my arms while Odell cooked when Heather walked in the kitchen and I smiled as she gave me a hug and practically demanded to see my ring.

"I never knew Odell could have such good taste." She gasps as she examines the ring and I chuckle.

"Right? Me either." I reply gushing as I once again admire my ring. I swear I can't stop looking at it. "Is mommy's ring pretty baby boy? Daddy did good, huh?" I ask Carter as he reaches his hand out and plays with my ring.

"His hair has gotten so long since we've been gone." Odell says walking up to us and running his hand over his wild curls and I nod.

"Yeah, that reminds me. Heather, I wanted to know if you could show me how to do it. Like what products and stuff cause right now I just use water with a little coconut oil since he's still young." I tell her and she nods.

"Of course hon. I braided Odell's hair when it got too long, so I can show you how to do that when it gets a little longer also. It would last a few days also." She answers and I smile.

"Yeah, that would be great." I answer and she nods. We all ate breakfast together and then I went upstairs to get ready to meet Phil at his office. I really didn't even want to go because I missed Carter so much and didn't want to leave him anymore then I had to, but I knew I would not hear the end of it if I skipped out on this meeting. I said goodbye to Odell and Carter when I was ready and then drove over to Phil's office.

"Okay, lets keep this quick please." I say right as I walk into his office because I want to get back to Carter as soon as possible.

"September 29th. That's the release date for your album. I scheduled a photoshoot for the album art next week and you will start your promo for the album in two weeks." He says not once looking up at me and I roll my eyes.
