Chapter XII- Bacon

(Y/n's POV)

I run over to the huge building in the middle-ish of the town. I go the doors, techno following behind, and read the sign.

Me: "A LIBRARY??"
I can't contain my excitement.

He chuckles.

Techno: "Yes, it's a library."

Me: "COOOL"

Techno: "You like libraries?"
He sounds surprised.

Me: "Hell yeah I do."

I go inside and walk over to a chest and open it out of curiosity. It's filled with books. I lift one out.

The story of icarus, it reads. I open open it and find a full page of writing, followed by another, followed by another.

Me: "WAIT ITS ACTUALLY TYPED OUT??"

Techno: "Can you tell I have too much free time?"

Me: "Yeah, well I could tell that by your skill level in a literal block game, but heyho."

Techno: "OKAYYY- YOU'RE ONE TO SPEAK MISS, IM AN ACE RACE AND PARKOUR TAG GOD-"
He gets super close to the mic.

Me: "PAHAH-"

I put the book back.

Me: "You have to read this to me sometime you know,"
I tell him, only half joking.

He chuckles.

Techno: "Sure thing."

After that, he takes me around the map for a tour. The giant mushrooms catch my eye but then something moves on my screen. 

Me: "OOOOH!"

I run over to the creature I saw behind a tree.

Techno: "Dear god, what did you find?"
He says, following me.

Me: "A PIG!"

Techno: "A pi- HAH- I build this whole map and invite you over for you to hunt down pigs-"
He gets close to his mic again.

Me: "He's cute though. I shall name him bacon,"
I tell him, crouching repeatedly by the pig.

Techno: "Alright-that's adorable but what if I just-"

I hear his keyboard clacking.

A sword appears in his hand.

Me: "NO-"

He hits bacon with the sword and the pig squeals once before exploding into smoke and a pork chop.

Me: "I-"
I'm speechless.

Techno: "I wanted him to live up to his name."

I slowly turn towards his character in silence.

Me: "My therapist will be hearing about this."

Techno: "PAHAHA"
