Chapter XXX- Presents

(Technos POV)

The house is massive. Way bigger than I expected. Dream is as loaded as Wilbur says.

Ranboo and I decide not to explore it yet. Not until the others get here. But we do take our bags into the giant living room and set them down.

I crouch down and carefully take y/n's presents out of my bag, which are wrapped up safely.

Ranboo: "Hey, what's that?"

Me: "Y/n's presents,"
I answer in short.

Ranboo: "Can I see?"
He crouches beside me.

Me: "Sure."

I take out them bag of items.

^^^ Two matching pairs of rings  and a fidget ring since she's always fiddling with hers.

^^^ A pig plushie and a pig key ring. I told her I'd get her another bacon.

Ranboo: "What's with the pigs?"

Me: "It's an inside joke,"
I chuckle.

Ranboo: "You're very prepared. Her birthday isn't for until Friday though right? There's still like five days."

Me: "Yeah. Still need to get her flowers and chocolates."

Ranboo: "Ah, okay. They should be here in about half an hour right?"

I check my phone.

Me: "Yeah I guess so."

'Holy shit, I'm meeting y/n'

A surge of panic runs through me again.

Y/n.

The same girl that I've been talking to every day for over two weeks. It's not like we haven't seen what each other looks like, we FaceTime all the time. But for some reason I'm really nervous.

'What if I can only make her laugh over discord?'

'What if we meet and have nothing to talk about?'

(Y/n's POV)

We get off the plane, get our bags and spot dream instantly. He's really tall.

After a quick greeting, we get into the car and he starts driving us to the house.

Phil is next to dream in the front. Wilbur, Tommy and Tubbo fill the middle row.  Me and Nikki are in the very back of the car.

Me: "Is Ranboo already there?"
I ask anyone.

Tubbo: "He is. He's texting me now. He says the house is really big."

Me: "Yayyy."

Speaking of texting-

I lift my phone and turn it off airplane mode.

Techno hasn't texted me back.

'Did I upset him with the teasing?'

'Nah, he said it was okay'

Y/n
Just landed

He replies immediately.

Y/n
Gooood. Way too long tho

We keep texting back and forth until we arrive at the house, which is massive.

I get out quickly so I can FaceTime techno.

He doesn't answer at first, which worries me, but then he does.

And I can stop my smile.

Me: "Hiiii."

He's in a big room that I haven't seen before. There's a giant, expensive looking painting behind him.

Techno: "Hallo."

Me: "Is that your brothers house?"

Techno: "Huh? Oh yeah."
He looks around him.

'He's acting real suspicious.'

Me: "Hmm. Okay. Well- I just got off the plane! Look!"
I hold my phone all around me to show him my sunny surroundings.

He starts to smile and gets close to the camera to look at the scenery.

Then I show him the outside of the house and his smile fades.

Techno: "Oh- you're at the house already?"
His tone changes.

Me: "Yeah, why? I'm about to go in actually."

Tommy: "Not before me bitch!"
He runs in first without his bags.

Techno: "Yeah- I've gotta go y/n. I'll talk to you soon okay?"
His voice is rushed now.

Me: "Oh uh- okay."

He doesn't even say goodbye before he hangs up.

A pang of sadness hits me but I try not to be upset and just grab my bags instead.

Then I make my way to the house.
