Chapter XLI- Shopping

(Technos POV)

After breakfast, we all discuss what we're doing to do with the day.

Tommy: "What are we doing today?"

Phil: "Going shopping,"
He says in short.

Tommy: "Nooooo. Really??"
He starts to whine.

Y/n: "I mean feel free to stay home, none of us would complain,"
She retorts immediately.

Tommy: "...you know what? I quite like shopping actually,"
He says, slipping y/n a glare.

Phil: "Alright, everyone meet down here in twenty minutes?"

Everyone nods and then we all go upstairs to get dressed.

I make it to my room and start to look through my drawers for something to wear when I hear a knock on my door.

Me: "Come in."

Y/n: "Heyy, I think I left my phone up here,"
She says, opening the door.

'Now would be a good time to talk to her wouldn't it?'

Y/n: "Oh, found it."
She holds up her phone after retrieving it from the bed.

Me: "Hey y/n?"
I start.

Y/n: "Yeah?"

Me: "Are you okay with- like- last night?"
I stutter like a fool and she smiles.

Y/n: "I am."

Me: "Good, always tell me if you aren't comfortable with something."

Y/n: "I will. Are you okay with last night?"

I nod.

Y/n: "Good. See you downstairs in ten?"
She asks and I nod.

Then she leaves and I get dressed.

Somehow I'm the last person to come downstairs so everyone's waiting for me.

Me: "Did I take that long?"

Tommy: "Yes dickhea-"
Y/n elbows him and he stops talking.

We all go outside to get into the car and remember there's too many of us.

Wilbur: "I'll ride with techno and y/n in the other car."

Phil: "Alright. We'll meet you there."

Wilbur makes me drive and y/n sits next to me. This feels like some kind of test with him watching us.

Y/n: "Will, do you know what kind of shops are up here?"

Wilbur: "Uh, there's a huge shopping centre and then there's loads of shops scattered around town. They basically have everything."

Y/n: "Do you think they have any bookshops?"
She says excitedly.

Wilbur: "I'm sure they have bookshops."

Y/n: "Yay! Can we go Techno? Pleaseee?"
She asks, grabbing onto my arm.

I chuckle.

Me: "Yes y/n, we can go to the bookstore,"
I tell her and she grins.

When we get to the shopping centre, I park right beside the other car and we all get out.

At the start, we all stick together. But then Tommy, Ranboo and Tubbo spot a game store and run off. And Wilbur, Phil and Niki go off to get some snacks.
