Chapter XXVII- Last Minute Preparations

(Y/n's POV)

I won't lie, I was a bit sad when techno told me he couldn't come to Florida for my birthday.

But I understand, he wants to stay to be with his brother. That's completely reasonable.

It's silly that I even thought he would want to waste his time and money to come and see me when he doesn't even know me that well.

It's been two weeks since Wilbur asked if I wanted to fly out. I'm leaving first thing tomorrow morning.

And techno and I have been talking every day for the last two weeks. We FaceTime daily and we've fallen asleep talking to each other a few times.

I keep teasing him about all the things he'll be missing by not coming to Florida. But he's adamant that he wants me to send him the pictures and FaceTime him every night.

I can't even remember a time when I didn't know him. It feels like he's always been here.

My phone dings.

I do as he says and join the voice chat.

Techno: "Hallooo."

Me: "Heyaaa. How are you today?"

Techno: "Well I'm great now that you're here."

I smile.

Techno: "So you're leaving tomorrow?"

Me: "I ammmm,"
I stretch the word.

Me: "Don't worry. I'll send you a picture of the clouds from the plane."

He laughs.

Techno: "Thank you, thank you. You excited?"

Me: "Yes! I get to see tommy and Wilbur! And Tubbo and Ranboo! And Phil will be there! OOO- and niki! I can't wait to meet niki!"
I ramble in excitement.

He chuckles at me.

I pause and stretch, accidentally knocking something off my desk.

Me: "Ah shit-"
I lean down to pick it up.

Techno: "You okay? I heard something fall."

Me: "Yup. Just dropped my tree."

Techno: "You- whAt?"

I chuckle.

Me: "I have a little wire cherry blossom tree that sits in my desk. I knocked it over by mistake."

Techno: "Ahh,"
He says in realisation.

Techno: "You like cherry blossom trees?"

Me: "I doooo. They're so prettyyyy,"
I stretch for effect.

Techno: "Noted."

Me: "PAH- oh god."

Techno: "Wanna hop on our world for a little while? I know it's late and you're leaving in the morning but just for a little bit?"
His voice goes soft.

Me: "I really need to pack... but sure. Only for a little while though."

Techno: "Of course. Of course."

We hop on and play for a bit.

(Technos POV)

It's a good thing that I've packed all my things because I leave at early tomorrow for my flight and I don't plan on waking up early.

We spend a couple hours together, which is longer than we were supposed to. But she told me she didn't want to leave.

After we say goodbye to our world, I get a text from tommy.

I join discord hesitantly.

Tommy: "TECHNOOOO"

Me: "What child?"

Tommy: "What time does your flight get in?"

Me: "Uhhh, 10:00 Orlando time I think."

(A/n: this is probably way off. Just go with it.)

Tommy: "Ours gets in at 11:00 so you'll be there for a while before us. You and Ranboo will have some time to kill with dream before we get there."

Me: "Alright. I'll organise her presents or something."

Tommy: "Okay sounds good. Y/n, Wilbur, niki, Tubbo, Phil and I will meet at our airport then fly over."

I nod although he can't see me.

Tommy: "Ranboo and you will meet Dream at the airport in Florida and then go to the house. Are you okay staying at the house with Ranboo so dream can come pick us up an hour later?"

Me: "Yeah sure."

Tommy: "Okay. And then we'll all meet up at the house. Sound good?"

Me: "Yep."

We leave discord and I get some food.

The reality finally sets in that I'm meeting y/n tomorrow. My heart starts to beat faster and faster and a smile grows on my face.
