Chapter XLVI: The end

(Y/n's POV)

It was hard saying goodbye to my friends when our holiday ended.

It was harder saying goodbye to techno.

Our group holiday was one of my favourite things I have ever experienced. As soon as I got back to my small home in England, alone, I couldn't stop the tears from falling.

My friends and I would still play games together online almost every day.

Techno and I would still message constantly and fall asleep on FaceTime every night but it wasn't the same.

I missed them all.

I missed him. So much that my heart ached.

So two days before Christmas, when Techno messaged me "Open your front door for an early Christmas present" my heart leaped.

I raced down the stairs and crashed into the front door.

I opened it to see Wilbur. And then Phil. And Ranboo. And tubbo. And Niki. And Tommy. All crowded around my door.

And then Techno appeared between them all. I couldn't stop myself from pushing past everyone else and throwing my arms around his neck.

Techno: "Are you crying, Princess, or is my neck just very sweaty all of a sudden?"

I laughed.

Me: "I missed you."

Techno: "I missed you too. C'mere-"
He pushed me up and away from him so he could wipe away my tears with his thumb.

Techno: "That's better. Can we come inside?"
His voice was gentler than before.

Me: "Of course. Everyone come in,"
I led the way inside.

Then, in my very own house, I had them all back.

Tommy and tubbo were messing with something of mine.

Ranboo was desperately trying to get them to put it back.

Niki, Phil and Wilbur were all talking about something and looking at me.

Techno's arm was around my waist. I could smell his aftershave again. I could feel the pressure of his touch again. I had him back. Suddenly everything was okay again.

I had missed this so much, it almost felt unreal to experience it again.

I wanted to stay here with all of my friends, and with Techno, forever.
