Chapter XXXI- Y/n, in Person

(Technos POV)

I'm starting to panic.

Y/n is here.

She's outside.

Right now.

I'm about to meet her.

'What if she hates me?'

Suddenly Tommy bursts through the doors.

Tommy: "Techno! Good to see you buddy! Y/n is here!"
He tells me.

Me: "I know that! What do I do??"

Tommy: "Uh- hide behind the sofa or something!"
He gestures vaguely to the sofa.

Me: "Tommy- that is the stupidest idea that I have ever-"
I start to say.

He's gone back outside.

I tuck my bags away out of sight and then duck behind the sofa.

Suddenly I hear phils voice.

Phil: "Alright- we have some rules before anyone goes running off, okay?"
He starts to say and I know he's talking to multiple people.

Then I hear another voice and my whole body goes cold expect for my heart, which beats at a rapid pace.

Y/n: "That painting looks scarily familiar."

Her voice is smooth. It sounds rougher over discord. In real life, it's beautiful. Although, it was always beautiful.

My eyes look to the painting she was talking about.

'Shit, it's the painting that was behind me when she FaceTimed me. She's gonna know-'

Tubbo: "But I wanna explore the house-"

Phil: "Explore after. So the rules-"

Tommy: "Before you explain the rules Phil-"
He interrupts and my eyes widen.

I hear footsteps next to the sofa.

Tommy: "Y/n, can I give you an early birthday present?"

Y/n: "That's... terrifying,"
She sounds uncertain.

Tommy: "Oh shut up. You'll like it. C'mere,"
He tells her.

Then tommy looks at me over the sofa and gestures to stand up.

So I take a deep breath and stand up.

Y/n freezes and looks up at me.

For what feels like an eternity, she just stares at me with wide eyes.

I start to panic and think that this wasn't a good idea.

But then she walks around the sofa and wraps her arms around me.

I didn't expect that.

My whole body goes stiff.

And I stop breathing.

Then I hug her back.

She's a lot smaller than I imagined. Her head comes up to about my chest. And she smells like a sweet perfume.

We hug for a long time, her head buried in my chest and my lungs unable to take in air while in her presence.

Tommy: "Eugh-"

Wilbur: "Do you two want a minute alone orrr.."
He jokes.

I forgot everyone was in this room. For a minute it felt like only her and I existed.

She finally let's go of me, which makes me a little sad. She turns to Wilbur with a smile.

Y/n: "Shut up,"
She jokes.

Tommy: "You like my present?"
He asks y/n.

Y/n: "I love it,"
She smiles up at me and my heart feels like it'll explode.

Phil walks around the sofa next and hugs me quickly.

Phil: "Hey mate,"
He greets.

Wilbur, tommy and the rest greet me after him.

Y/n: "So Phil- the rules?"
She asks, standing so close to me that our arms touch.

Phil: "Right- a quick run down of the house and rules. Dream payed for this and it was very expensive so if you break anything- you will be paying for it,"
He stares directly at Tommy.

Everyone laughs.

Tommy: "Why is he looking at me?"
He asks everyone.

Phil: "I had to personally convince dream to let you stay so best behaviour Tommy."

Tommy: "Yeah yeah whatever-"
He rolls his eyes.

Phil: "Okay, there's three floors and four bathrooms. Try to stick to your own floor."

Tommy: "What floor am I on Phil?"
He asks impatiently.

Phil: "I'm- I'm getting to that Tommy- Jesus Christ-"
He says exasperatedly.

Phil: "There's two bedrooms on the second floor. Ranboo and tubbo will take a room, and Tommy and y/n will take a room. There's three bedrooms on the third floor. Me and Wilbur will share one. Nikki and techno have their own room each. Everyone okay with that?"

Tubbo: "Yep!"

Me: "How many beds do the rooms have?"
I ask.

Phil: "Your room and Niki's room have one double, all the rest have two singles."

Tommy: "Do I have to share with y/n?"
He complains.

Y/n: "Stop whining bitchboy. If you can't share a room with me I'm sure there's a sofa somewhere with your name on it,"
She fires back.

'God she's great'

Everyone laughs.

Niki: "Sounds good,"
She hums.

Y/n: "Can we explore now?"
She asks excitedly, holding onto my arm now.

Phil: "Go for it."
