P.s- A very Long Chapter
Somnath and Tara looked at eachother and taking a deep breath, they looked towards the door. Somnath knocked, and as they got the approval to come inside, they did.
Closing the door's behind them. It was a Trilochan's room.

Mayur was on his way towards the room, when heard some noises from the kitchen. Confused, he saw Anika standing looking at nothing particular.
"Anika?" Mayur called out. Anika flinched and looked at the direction. Calming her self, she looked down. " Kya hua? Itni raat ko yaha?"
"Man nahi lag raha tha uncle.." Anika said, while Mayur looked more confused. He then remembered, how scared she looked when Anirudh was beating the man mercilessly. "Dar lag raha hai?"
Anika looked at him with tearful eyes. Mayur came and gently wiped her tears. " Itni pyaari aakhon mei agar tumhari maa ne aasun dekh liye na, tumhari baba ki khair nahi."
Anika giggled, and smiled. Ruffling her hairs, he said, " Jo hua nahi hona chahiye tha. Par shayad zaroori bhi tha. Isme darne jaisa kuch nahi hai. Hmm?. Chalo jao, soh jao. Warna bhoot aa jayega."
Anika frowned, and said "Aap darte honge bhoot se uncle. Anika nahi." Mayur laughed and nodded. " Ab jao, maa dhund rahi hogi tumhari."
Anika nodded, and gave smile. She was about to go out when, Mayur stopped her. "Anu. Bacche inn 6 saalon mei tumhe yahan Bombay se koi chithiyan mili thi kya?".
Anika thought for a second and nodded in No. Giving a smile Mayur nodded. "Aise kaise ho sakta hai? Bondita ne toh likhi thi.." Mayur muttered to himself.

Anirudh stood alone in his room, the night still clinging to him like a memory he couldn't shake off. The faint scent of her itar still lingered on his clothes or maybe it was just his mind refusing to let go. His fingers absentmindedly touched his cheek the same place where her lips had brushed, accidentally yet not accidentally enough for his heart to ignore, a shy smile played on his lips.
He kept the shawl on the chair neatly folding it. He unlocked his watch, and kept on the table. As he started to ruffle his hairs, his eyes fell on the person standing behind him.
"Vanshika.." Anirudh whispered her name. Vanshika looked at him, and said " Badle badle se lag rahe ho? Kya baat hai? Khush nahi ho mujhe dekh ke?"
The voice wasn't loud. It wasn't even real. But it cut through him like it always did.
"Tum yahan..?" Anirudh asked in a low voice.
"Tumhe dubara se usse se lagaav hone laga hai Awni..inkaar mat karo apni feelings ko.." Vanshika said coming a little close.
He turned and faced the mirror. "Mei nahi karta Bondita se pyaar..bas dost hai.."
"Par meine toh sirf lagaav ki baat ki..pyaar ki nahi Awni.." Vanshika said raising her eyebrow.
Anirudh looked at her through reflection stunned. Before he could say anything, "Jab usne kaha ki usse doori banane ko, tab tum aise ruk gaye jaise tumhari jaan hi maang li ho usne.." Vanshika said tracing the shawl he had worn.
"Vanshika please..." Anirudh softly said but Vanshika continued, " Pehele toh sirf Meri Zimmedari hai karke bolte the..ab Meri Bondita, Meri dost. Good progress awni."
Anirudh stiffened. "Zimmedari hi hai.." he said. "Uske saath jo kuch hua uska zimmedar mei hi hoon Vanshika..sirf mei"
"Toh phir uske paas aane se tumhare dhadakne tez ho jaati hai. Uske door jaane se jaan nikal jaati hai. Uska kisi aur se ussi apnepan se baat karna kyun khatakta hai tumhe? Kya ab bhi woh tumhari zimmedari hai?" Vanshika said looking intently at him.
