LICK!!!
Slobber of a tongue pressed against my cheek up to my forehead. Then came another lick behind my head and something nibbling my toes like I was an edible candy. It wasn't a pleasant feeling, but it's ticklish and almost unbearable!
"H-h-ah-hahaAH!" I woke up with laughter, surprising those around me. My hands were on the ground, and my eyes glanced around.
And here I am, another cave once again. Except it wasn't full of ice and cold, only the tundra outside and pure stone inside. As I scanned the area, a fluffy ear blocked half of my vision before all of it when a wolf's face got in my way. It seemed like I'd awakened inside a wolf's den, a den full of friendly-looking wolves, most sitting around doing nothing.
And I didn't get eaten yet! I'm not sure if I'll celebrate that...
"Hewo?" I spoke to the wolf in front of me, yet it ended up making all of them blankly stare. What harm can I do by saying one positive word!
Those gray and white furry beasts soon returned to their lazy state. A few of them chase each other around, having playful or aggressive attention. Nevertheless, the one in front of me kept on staring straight into my eyes, its tongue stuck out and tail wagging furiously.
I may be somewhat like them, and I have no clue what their intentions are. Maybe if I—
"There there? Fluffy fluff?" I raised my right hand to give the wolf a pat on the head followed by a stroke from its forehead to the back of its ears. A slight affectionate growling sound came from it.
Unexpectedly, the wolf lowered its head more and continued to enjoy my petting. I suddenly realized that these creatures weren't bad. To me at least. Thank you for my traits! I appreciate a bit of luck with this!
My skill of handling predators like them caused others to acknowledge. Most of them stood up then rushed toward where I sat, all desperate for some cuddling and petting. Most of them tried to overwhelm me with blankets of fur and playful interaction.
...They're so cute! This whole cave is full of fluff I could pet!
And thus, an hour had passed, and I've made friends with over twenty wolves. It's almost as if I understand them to begin with, a shard of family and struggle. Their eyes revealed it to me somehow, though it must be from my special traits of seeing outline.
However, it wasn't too long before my stomach growled again. The return of starvation came to groom my back again. The consistent stubbornness of my body refused to let go! It's arguing with me. Why? I don't want to argue back, but it's like mentally talking to a wall.
Grrr—YES! I AM HUNGRY! OKAY!?
I sighed and laid on the cold stone, looking up at the ceiling and the surrounding wolves. Though, something seems wrong. The silly-looking wolf with its tongue always out vanished from my view.
