I walk through the halls of the palace of Asgard being escorted by the royal guards. I requested a private meeting with the King, Odin. I've come to take home what is mine. Finally we reach the door of the main hall and they open. The guards lead me through and I am face to face with Odin.

"Your majesty." I nod. "Your majesty." He nods back at me. "Guards let her go. This meeting is private." Odin orders. The guards release me and leave. "Odin I've came for something that belongs to me. The one thing that was taken from me long ago that I've only just found out you have." I say. "Oh? And what is that?" He asks. "My son." I announce.

"You've come for him haven't you?" He asks. I nod. "Please Odin. I can not live without him. My quest for years has been to find him." I beg. "Alright calm down my dear you-" Odin stars only to be cut off by the door being flung open by a young boy. Prince Thor.

"Father! Help! It's Loki! His skin! It's blue with markings and his eyes are blood red! He is frightened father!" Thor panics worried for his little brother. "Oh lord!" Odin gasps. "Odin! I know what to do! Let me help him!" I panic. "Fine! Thor lead Queen Y/n to Loki! She can help! Return here after with Loki too!" He orders his son. "Yes father!" He rushes dragging me along with him.

"Thor where is Loki?" I ask. "In our play room!" He cries. Finally we reach the door but it's closed. "Thor go to your room and don't come out yet, this is a bit dangerous." I tell him. He nods and runs to his room. I sigh and look at the door.

"Prince Loki?" I ask softly sitting next to the door. "Yes?" I hear a sniffle. "My name is Queen Y/n. I am Queen if Jouton. I know what is happening to you." I soothe. "No you don't!" He yells. Good lord he got my anger issues. "Yes I do. You skin is a light blue but you have even lighter blue markings on your body." I try. "Yes." I hear him mumble. "Have you looked in a mirror." I ask. "No I've been to afraid." He cries.

"Loki your eyes should be red." I say calmly. "Go have a look in a mirror." I tell him. I hear shuffling and hear a sob. "They are!" He sobs. "Loki dear. Let me in." I ask. The door rattled and I see Loki in his true form. "Come in! I don't want anyone to see!" He begs gripping my wrist and pulling me in.

The room is cold. Not that I care. "How do you know all of this?" He asks curious. "Because I am like you." I say letting my true form show. He gasps. I giggle. "Loki there is also something we need to talk about. We are similar in appearance because we are related." I smile. "We are?" He asks shocked. "Yes Loki. You will find out more but you father wishes to tell you that." I explain.

He shakes his head. "I can't leave what if someone sees me?!" He asks worried hugging me. I freeze at the feeling but slowly hug him back letting him snuggle into me. "I can cast a spell to hide it if you want?" I ask him a little sad he doesn't like his appearance. He nods happily as I wave my hand over him making him return to his human form. His blue eyes are electric and his jet black hair is just like mine.

I grab his hand and we walk to the main hall again to see Odin. As we walk in Loki grins and runs to Odin hugging him. "Father! Thank you for letting Queen Y/n help me!" He thanks. I hear heels clacking on the floor as a women around my age walks in. "Mother!" Loki laughs hugging her. I feel a twinge in my heart.

"Hello dear." She smiles lifting him up to hug him. I feel tears well up in my eyes. She is his mother. She raised him not me. "Odin should I tell him or you?" I ask him quietly. "I'll tell him he is adopted you tell him you're his mother." He smiles. "Loki, dear, come here." I call.

He nods and jumps from the woman's arms running to us. "Yes?" He asks. "Loki, my boy, come sit up here with me." Odin asks and so he does. Loki sits on his lap and looks at Odin. "Son, you know how your appearance changed earlier?" He starts. "Yes father. It's because I'm some how related to Queen Y/n." He grins.

"Well, my boy, you are related but in a very close way." He continues looking at me. "Loki, we care about you deeply and we think you need to know that you are adopted." Odin finishes. Suddenly Loki starts crying and his lip trembles. He jumps off Odin and runs to me. He sobs into my shoulder and I rub his back gently. I hush him and cradle him.

"Loki look at me." I ask him. He lifts his head and his raven locks dangle I front of his face. "Do you know how we are related?" I ask him smiling. He shakes his head. I cup his cheeks and kiss his head. "I'm your mother Loki." I grin. I hear the woman gasp and Loki hugs me.

"You're my mother?" He asks shocked. I giggle. "Yes, my little prince." I grin. "Mummy!" He cries wrapping his little arms around me the best he can. "So does this mean Thor isn't my brother?" He asks sadly. "Oh no my child! He has and always will be your brother." I smile reassuringly.

"Now Loki there is only one thing we have to discuss." Odin states. "What is it?" He asks confused. "Would you rather still live here and come visit me or come live with me and visit Asgard whenever you want?" I ask my son.

Loki looks to his adoptive mother who nods while crying. "Go on dear. She is your mother." The Queen sighs. "You're his mother too. You raised him." I smile. She smiles and walks over to us. "Loki, my boy, you can decide what you want. It's your choice." She tells him. He looks at me again. I nod. "Can I come stay with you?" He asks meekly. I nod and smile. "Of course you can!" I giggle kissing his head. "I'll show you your home planet and show you all around my castle! Then we can do whatever you want!" I tell him.

Years pass and Loki is now 15.
⚠️Trigger warning ⚠️
I knock on my son's bedroom door. It's a lovely warm day so I'm going to ask him if he would join me on a walk. "Loki? Would you like to go on a walk with me?" I ask him. He comes out of his room with a book in hand. He is wearing long sleeves. "Son why are you wearing long sleeves? It's to warm." I ask. "I'm not warm." He says acting strange. I can see him dripping with sweat. "Loki you are sweating. What's going on?" I ask suspicious. "Nothing." He tells me.

Then it hits me. "Loki roll up your sleeves." I ask him softly. He scoffs. "Why should I?!" He growls. "Because I am your mother and I told you so!" I yell causing him to flinch. "Sorry honey." I say hugging him. I kiss his head. "Please roll up your sleeves." I beg. I see his eyes watering. His lip trembles as he rolls them up. All along his arms are scars new and old. I gasp. He sobs. The two of us don't know what to do or say. "How long Loki?" I ask him. "A year." He whispers. "Darling you should of told me! I could have helped you. Promise me you will always come to me when you feel the need to do this." I beg him. He nods and snuggles into my chest. "I love you Loki. Remember that." I tell him. "I love you too Mum." He sniffles. "I don't know what if do if I ever lost you." I frown.
