"These pancakes are so good."

"Yeah, what the hell is in them?"

"Crack."

They all stop what they're doing, freezing.

"I'm just kidding," I roll my eyes before flipping the pancake on the electrical pan.

Gio doesn't move still frozen in the air.

"Gio you can move. I was joking."

"Can never be too sure, but I wouldn't mind trying crack like this. Cause if this is how it tastes then I would do it daily," he takes a bite of the pancake on the fork, finally moving.

I lock eyes with him before looking back down at the pancakes. I'm placed right on the island, with a moveable electrical pan. He notices my tense posture and starts trying to say words.

"I didn't mean it like that-."

"I know, Gio. Don't worry. I've been good. Cravings haven't really been hitting me," I plaster a smile on my face before placing the last pancake, on top of all the other pancakes.

I grab myself a plate placing pancakes on it. I drizzle
it in syrup before walking over to the couch next to Ryder.

"Why'd you lie to them?"

"Because it's not a big of a deal," I cut the pancake before placing it in my mouth. "Besides, it wasn't that bad."

"Wasn't bad?" he looks at me before placing his plate on the coffee table. "Baby, you were crying in the bathroom and I had to run you under cold water."

Well, it wasn't as bad as my old ones. I still don't think it was bad.

I shrug before changing the topic, "Where's Anderson? I made pancakes for him."

He sighs before laying back down on the couch. He looks to his right looking out the window. He then turns his head back to me leaving a kiss on my bare shoulder.

"Today's a hard day for him."

"Oh, well then maybe I can drop it off at the door and he can eat them. Cant not let him taste my crack pancakes," I beam up from the couch taking the last bite of my pancakes. "Come on, Bear. Get your ass up."

"I think we should really just leave him alone," he stands up from the couch following after me. "He might snap on you."

The man has never talked to me. Literally. I've never heard him talk before.

"What is he gonna do? Throw a pillow at my head?"

"He might," Apollo jumps in, "Or a table. God, I hope it's a table."

I squint my eyes at him before grabbing the spatula I used to flip the pancakes, throwing it at his head. "Oops."

Apollo gets ready to stand up but Ryder changes his position standing more like a bodyguard.

"You deserved that," Gio adds.

"Yeah sit down, Tiger," says Lincoln.
