Analia Rayne ||I just stare.
Staring at him. Wondering.
Wondering whether I should move or not.
He stares at me back.
Not moving.
Probably wondering if he should or not.
But he does.
Anderson takes a step forward towards me but I move back not noticing what I'm doing.
I didn't mean to move back. He probably thinks I'm afraid of him now. I'm not.
I'm just a little shaken up because it's all too much to process right now. And I need time to process. So I stare again but this time I'm standing up.
"Analia.."
"It's okay. I'm fine."
"No."
"I'm fine, Anderson. It's not my first," I try cracking a joke but he doesn't crack. Okay. He stares down at my neck and back to my face.
"Neck," he circles his neck.
"Oh, it's fine-."
"No. Mark," he then points to the mirror by the front door. I walk over to the mirror and see his handprint around my neck. The mark is red and you can see each finger.
Shit. Ryder's gonna kill someone.
"I can cover it with makeup, before Ryder sees," I walk back over to him.
"Get out."
"Not until you tell me why you attacked me. You cant attack someone and not tell them the reason why," I walk past him, sitting down on his couch. I cross my legs over on top of each other, looking over at him.
He turns around looking at me and walks over taking a seat on the couch.
I study his face to see what he might be feeling. I see his eyes keep wondering all the place. His leg is bouncing up and down like crazy.
I place my hand on his leg to stop him. He's startled by the sudden touch staring at my hand and then at me. "Relax," I tell him.
I continue, "How about you tell me first, why you've been in here all day?"
Silence.
Okay.
"Come on, Anderson. You talk so you can't fake it anymore if you were. I'll make all the bakery treats you want," I say trying to convince him.
"Annoying."
"Who?"
"You," he points his finger straight at me. I grab my chest in pain.
"I'm hurt," I pucker out my bottom lip, "I don't care. I know I am. Now come on. Promise I won't tell anyone, but I probably have no one to tell."
