6 Days Later.

The new year.

New me, right?

That's the saying everyone says, honestly it's so overused.

It's just a different year where people believe that they'll change but they don't really.

I'm people.

I use to believe it. The next year was gonna be different than the last.

It never was.

Same thing, every year.

New year, same bullshit.

However, this year granted me a wonderful ending. Ew. That sounded so fucking corny but I'm just trying to be optimistic.

She really has this type of effect on me now.

Currently in the living room with all the guys, Carter and Analia.

All the guys and me, including Carter, are dressed in black. Nothing out of the ordinary, especially for me.

Except I'm wearing a velvet black suit.

Analia got it for me for Christmas saying she knows I wouldn't go too out of my comfort zone, so she got velvet.

In black.

Might be my new favorite thing.

Don't tell Gio I said that though.

Speaking of Christmas, it was probably the best Christmas I've had in a while. Not because she was there because be everyone was there. And happy.

Yes, that includes Anderson.

Flashback 6 days ago.

"Apollo's first," Analia happily pulls out Apollo's gift from under our first real Christmas tree.

Analia wanted us to have a real Christmas tree this year because she's never had one.

Gio almost cried when she told him that and we ended up going the same day to get one. Analia walks over to Apollo placing the gift on his lap. He picks it up shaking it and Analia slaps her hand over it.

"What if I put something in there that easily broke?" she asks him.

"Then it would've been broken. There's nothing even in here."

"Just open it, dickhead. Before I take it back," she walks back overtaking a seat next to me. I drape my arm over her.

"Will do," Apollo starts ripping the wrapping present off of it and opens the box. He pulls out a piece of paper and his face is in shock.

"Think this is for the wrong person," he takes his eyes off of the paper, looking at Analia. His eyes meet hers.

"A little birdy told me you like surfing so I had to," she shrugs nonchalantly.
