Luckily he wasn't reprimanded, he was just desperate to cling onto what he had before. No one blamed Kian for feeling the way he did about everything but that didn't stop the situation he found himself in, he was a single dad for now and he just had to deal with that whether he liked it or not. The time went on and on and it seemed like ages since he would get what he wanted and that was for Jac to come home. Important milestones were happening and he couldn't help but feel scared for when Jac got out and the disappointment that she would have when she realised that he registered Ebony and that she could hold her head up now and even roll on some occasions and as that time went on and Jac was starting to get better, he was sure soon enough Ebony would have her mum back but Kian didn't know at what cost or whether she would be up to it at first, with every scenario he created he knew there were mostly negatives involved he hoped and prayed that the whole thing would go smoothly when it happened and that it would be positive enough for Jac to be happy with looking after her daughter alongside him.

"Twinkle, twinkle little star-" he starts before rolling his eyes at Ebony crying, he frowns as his phone goes off "Hello?"

"Kian"

"Jac?" he frowns kind of confused as to why she was calling him, they weren't really that close at the moment but they didn't really hate each other either "Are you ok?"

"Um yeah," she falters unsure of how to even put this "I'm getting out tomorrow and I was just wondering if you could come with Ebony to pick me up, Sacha will be there and-"

"Jac" he stops her and she sighs slightly "I'll be there, we have a lot to talk about, well about Ebony, not us..."

"No I understand" she confirms and Kian smiles to himself "I'll see you tomorrow, around ten?"

"Of course, see you tomorrow" he shook his head as he ended the call, he glances down at Ebony and smiles "Looks like you will be getting your mum after all eh?"

It was the longest day possible, it was hard and it was difficult to even focus knowing what was happening tomorrow. Kian didn't know if he was nervous or excited and he just wanted it over and done with as he sensed it would be really awkward. It was also like Ebony could pick up on his nerves which led them both to have a sleepless night as it really did seem like his daughter could sense the way he was feeling. As morning came Kian was up early feeding Ebony a bottle as he tried his best to multitask with clearing Jac's house up. With that done he got ready and then headed off to the psychiatric unit to meet up with Sacha.

"Right let's get you out," Kian says quietly lifting his daughter out of her car seat, he holds her on his hip and Sacha pulls up beside him "Hi Sacha"

"Here let me help" Sacha takes Ebony and Kian smiles appreciatively before heading into the psychiatric unit, they waited around for a bit to Kian took Ebony back and held her as she was very irritable with her sleep being disturbed

"You can sleep later" Kian bounces his daughter gently, it wasn't long before Jac appeared in the reception, Sacha immediately hugs her

"It's good to have you home" Sacha whispers and Jac nods with a small smile, she glances at Kian before approaching him and Ebony, gently, she takes her daughter and holds her causing a brief smile from Kian

"Thank you for bringing her" Jac nods and Kian grins at her as she interacts with her daughter "She's grown so much"

"I know, they change so much at that age don't they?" Kian smiles trying to keep the conversation away from their feelings "Now we were wondering, and it's up to you, whether you wanted to come back with me and stay there, or you could go with Sacha-"
