The Hunt

       I felt to something slightly nudging on my shoulder I slowly open my eyes and heard my father speak "time to get up." I looked out my window and noticed that it was still dark out and I got confused and I asked him "why did you wake me so early for" as I said this he lit up a match and turned on a lap that was on dresser and lit up a cigarette with the match. Then put out the match and he dropped it and he stepped on it to put it out and spoke in his ruff and rugged voice. "I woke you early so we can go hunt some deer." After I heard this I grown and got up and got out of bed then he left but be for he did he spoke "also come fix us some food up before you get your get your chores done" after he said that I opened my dresser and I put on red shirt and a pair of jeans and closed my dresser and started to fix breakfast.

      After we finished breakfast got cleaned up, put on hunting clothes, grabbed a bolt action rifle old rifle, some rounds, and my old gutting knife. then I heard the truck horn then I heard yelling   "Come on now it all most time to go." So I yelled back at him "ok just give me a minute." I put everything in my hunting bag, slung my bolt action rifle on my shoulder, and locked door as I left the dad yelled out the door and said "hop in before I leave your ass" As I got in and then I heard him speak "why did you bring that thing you can't hit a damn thing with it" I just smirk at him and just said "you know that this is my lucky gun" he just grumble at what said and put the car out of park and we drove to the our hunting spot.

When we got there it was still dark but can see the that we were going into the haller then dad spoke up "are you going on your own or are you coming to in deer stand" I was thinking for a moment to decided and then I spoke "I'll just be on my own for today" He stopped the truck and told me "I'm stopping dropping you off here and you find a hunting spot." I just nodded and I got out of the truck. When I got out I felt the strange warmth of night and dad just dive away as quietly as possible. I looked around and thought I seen red eye straight at but I rubbed my eyes and it seemed to disappear but I inorged this because I was still a little tired, but I also need to focus on the hunting. So I tried to find a hunting spot. Then I seen a stump on the edge of the tree line that looked over a small pond. I sat down on the stump and started and waited for something come a long to so I can kill but I felt a little uneasy like something was watching me. I looked around for anything but nothing it seemed like this place had nothing living in it and quite to but it seemed to be a bit to quiet but I tried to inorged it to the best of my ability.

Few hours later I was a little bored so I decided read the writing on my rifle "m70 Winchester" then I said out in a wispier "interesting at least" I looked around and the sun was starting to coming up and it was getting warmer and it was getting hotter that nothing was going to come out of the woods but then I heard gun shots coming form the woods then I heard yelling then I realized that it was in the direction of dad so I grabbed my rifle and ran to towards the yelling.

I ran as fast as I could and was run through thorn bushes and started to get closer to the yelling then I seen my father off the ground was pinned to a tree and something invisible seemed to be invisible but I had to help so I aim my rifle at the invisible thing and pulled the trigger and the bullet hit something metal and I chambered another round but the invisible thing had electricity coming off and the invisible shut off the and I hear it yell out at that terrified me then I heard my father yell out me to me "get out of hear and survive" tossed me his keys and pulled out a knife and ready it for combat. I just turned around and ran back to the truck parked in the middle of the of the haller I got in and started the engine then I heard a explosion go off and I knew that then and there that he was dead but I left to go and get help.

When the police told me the story of what had happened from the evidence that they found my father exploded in peace but there was two explosions that happened and there was barely any evidence but they are labeled it as a murder suicide and they ask me was who was it that killed your father. I couldn't tell them it was an alien they would think I was crazy so I lied "I don't know who killed my father they wore a mask and I did get a look. He about 6ft muscular, wore hunting clothes, and had a knife. The officer that was questioning me started to ask about if I had family that stay with then I remembered my uncle Chris and I said out loud "I have a uncle named Chris Schaefer." The officer smiled and said "I'll be back" and left the room. A few moments later the officer came back and told "I have some good news your uncle coming to get you and you still be living at your house. I got up and thanked the officer and left the room and to my new life.
