Narchril looked up at the sound of a noise and she grabbed her bow within seconds of it, drawin' back her bow as she did.

Narchril could see that there were shadows all around here and most of them were cast by the flames of her campfire. But she was ready to fire the arrow if she needed to.

Narchril fired the arrow when she saw a shape moving and there was a human-like grunt and she drew her bowstring back again, only to see a knife coming toward her.

Narchril aimed the arrow and the knife was knocked off-course and the knife was sticking out of a tree.

"I don't want to have to hurt you." She spat out in Elvish and the shadows stopped and she raised her eyebrows, when she heard a pair of voices speaking Dwarfish.

"Lay down your weapons and I won't hurt you." She said, switching to Dwarfish and they would look at her.

"We saw the fire from afar. Your arrow has wounded my brother. I smell food. We have laid down our weapons. May we approach?" One of the two dwarfs responded in their native tongue and Narchril slid the arrow from the bowstring.

"Approach." She said.

The two walked forward and Narchril's eyes flashed, as she sat behind the fire again and the two dwarves walked forward.

The injured one had her arrow sticking out of his shoulder and she sighed. "I can help him. Tis a poisoned arrow, meant for Orcs and Wargs." She advised and they both looked at her.

"You're an elf. That speaks Dwarfish." The uninjured one noted and Narchril rolled her eyes, and she opened her bundle and she began to divide up the medical supplies.

"What gave it away?" Narchril muttered in Dwarfish, as she carefully checked which arrow that she had just fired at the dwarf, who was now sitting against the nook in the rock.

"Since when do elves speak Dwarfish?" The injured one asked and Narchril shook her head slightly as she sighed.

"Just hold still." She muttered and he winced, as he was holding still and she swiftly cut open the skin around the arrow and she yanked the arrow out, which caused him to shout.

She looked at his brother, who put pressure on the wound as Narchril cleaned the arrowhead of blood and the shaft of the arrow as well. "Drink these." Narchril ordered and she had ground up the herbs into paste and he looked at the cup with disgust in his eyes. "Drink it or you will die. That poison on the arrow will kill you within the hour. It is meant to take down Orcs and Wargs in the quickest possible amount of time. It will bring you down three times more swiftly. Drink." She suggested and his hand was shaking, but he was drinking the herbs reluctantly.

"How many other of the many languages of this world do you speak?" The elder of the two asked as she packed up the remedies, and she'd shake her head.

"Quenya, Sindarin, Dwarfish, Melkian, Khuzdul." She listed off and he nodded slightly.

"My name is Fili. My brother there is Kili. Despite you shooting arrows at us, we are at your service." He said as she narrowed her eyes briefly and shook her head.

"Not required." She muttered under her breath in Melkian, as they looked at her.

"Doesn't matter. We are still at your service." Kili spoke up in Melkian and she looked over at him with a slight shake of her head.

"More like at my mercy at the moment." Narchril stated and she used a knife to cut off a leg of rabbit and she left the rest of it on the spit as they both looked at one another. "Go on. I won't make you starve." She said with a shake of her head, and the two went to work on the rabbit and the second squirrel.

"A lone elf on the road. It is not something that you see every day in our experience." Fili noted and she looked at him with a shake of her head, as she stood up and walked over to a nearby tree.

Narchril looked closely at the knife and the arrow next to it, as she was able to remove them and she looked carefully at the knife.

"This came from Erebor." She said and the two dwarves looked stunned by both her knowledge of the blades make and of their ancient kingdom that had been taken from them. She held it out to Fili, who looked at the blade and he took it back from her. "You should keep that blade close to you. It is a very valuable item." She said as she sat back down and she shook her head.

"You should get some rest. The poison will take a while, to fully dissipate out of your system." She said as she stared into the fire and Kili looked over at Fili, who shrugged as the elder of the two dwarves walks away to get some water.
