Home of Bilbo Baggins,

Years Later|

"How do we know that you won't betray us on the way through the Misty Mountains?!" Fili demanded to know as him and Narchril were walking up the path and well, he was storming up it anyways.

"Would you stop pushing me, Fili? I don't wish to push back but you might end up falling into the poor Hobbit's door and I do not wish your smelly and stinky stench on anybody else in this world." Narchril proclaimed and Fili glared at her, as years after they had met under rather some very unusual circumstances, they were still rather uneasy allies.

"Honestly brother, just leave her be. I would have thought that was a rather obvious thing to do, by now." Kili was remarking, as he had caught up to the duo after he had been left to tie up the horses.

"You have grown too close to her Kili. You know what Thorin would say of this matter, if he was here in the moment right now? He would tell you to chop off her hands, bake them into pies and feed them to the elves from whence she came." Fili snapped in Dwarfish and Narchil coughed.

"I speak Dwarfish as well, remember?" Fili spat onto the ground in irritation, as he stormed ahead and Narchril looked at Kili, as he sighed and they both stopped in the middle of the path.

"I am going to kill him, I swear to mother moon." Narchril growled and Kili sighed softly, as he shook his head at her.

"Enough of that nonsense. He won't hurt you and surely, you know that by now. He has had plenty of years to be hurting you, but he hasn't yet. Why?"

Narchril shook her head slightly at Kili's words and he sighed at her with a small smile on his face. "Because he knows how close you and I are. He wouldn't kill you if he was running a risk of hurting me. You know that by now, Nar." She smiled a bit at the familiar nickname, but she sighed as they heard Fili calling them both from the top of the path.

"Here we go." Narchril grumbled softly under her breath, as she was walking up the path and Fili already had taken it upon himself to knock on the bloody round door.

A hobbit opened the door and he looked horrified to see them and she knew exactly how the hobbit felt, as she was going to be an outsider here and she was not really at all, looking forward to it, at all.

"Fili."

"Narchril."

"And Kili."

"At your service." They all said to their hobbit friend at the same time, with brief and quick little bows to his hospitality.

"You must be Mr. Boggins!" Kili proclaimed and Narchril tilted her head slightly at his words.

"I think that it might just be Mr. Baggins, Kili, not a Mr. Boggins." She explained and Kili lifted his shoulder in a shrug.

"Isn't that what I just said?" He asked and Narchril gave up, as she looked at Mr. Baggins in the doorway.

"Nope! You can't come in. You have come, to the wrong house!" Baggins' intentions were clear enough and he did not even try to hide the facts, that he wanted to shut the door directly in their faces and he tried to.

"What? Has it been canceled?" Kili asked as he stepped into the doorway to stop the door from being closed in their faces, holding it open.

"No one ever told us." Fili explained and Narchril followed them into the Hobbit Hole, after Kili had walked right into the Hobbit's home.

"My apologies about the name mix-up, Kili tends to forget names and makes them up as he goes along again except for mine, conveniently enough for that." Narchril muttered to Bilbo Baggins, who looked up at her with a gaping expression. "I'm not a dwarf. I am an elf." She said to his expression and Bilbo looked shocked, as she was introduced to Balin and Dwalin by Kili afterward.

Balin was happy to greet her as a friend and as an equal, whereas his brother Dwalin was less kind and he gave her the stink-eye, at least until Kili distracted him with some stupid jokes as they worked and waited for the others to get to the Hobbit's hole.
